I see that THREE are no longer offering their £12.90 SIM bargain of All-you-can-eat - monthly tariff - I assume (hope) that those of us on that tariff get to keep it (for how long ?)

On the new priced "all-you-can-eat " tariffs (£20 +) - I see that they are saying "Turn your phone into a personal Wi-Fi hotspot." see http://www.three.co.uk/Store/SIM/Plans_for_phones
it specifically says
"With these plans, we’re happy for your to use your plan allowance of data units as a personal hotspot (also known as tethering) within the UK, up to the limits set out in the Price Guide.
This means you can connect your phone to other devices via USB or wirelessly to connect to the internet. Your data units or Add Personal Hotspot Add-on cannot be used in Feel At Home destinations"

Do these new rules apply to old "all-you-can-eat" plans as well ?

No. If you're on an old price plan you can't tether with AYCE data.
Unless you're on the one plan.

Tethering was never allowed on the old AYCE plans (other than the One Plan or with an add-on).

You will keep your plan as long as you pay for it.
