Decent broadband deals that can move with me?

I'm likely to be moving house in the next few months. Are there any decent broadband/phone deals at the moment that I could take with me when I move? I'm overpaying now, but don't want to end up paying for a full year's contract if I lose service when I move.

Do you know where you are moving too? As broadband is exchange specific, it all depends on whether your chosen provider has equipment in the exchange that will service your new house.0

It really annoyed me that Virgin treated a home move as a recontract when my boyfriend moved house. I know Sky don't - but whoever you go with it's probably worth checking if your contract length restarts or continues.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Moving to same or different exchange?
A home move is normally free but starts you on a new minimum term-that seems perefctly fair to me, as the provider is not going to pick up the transfer costs only to see you leave 3/6 months later. No free lunch, and no free laptop

If it was me I'd put up with what I'd got and check out the deals once I had the new place sorted out. Never forget to check cashback sites for any new BB contract as ISPs virtually all pay for new business that way on top of any offers on their websites.0

Any ISP that has BT 20CN as possible backhaul will work no matter where you are, as every exchange in the country has this available (we'll ignore the Republic of Kingston upon Hull and its unique telecommunications infrastructure for the purpose of this).
Any ISP that uses LLU backhaul it's pot luck whether you will be able to stay with them following a move.
I use A&A for my ISP on a BT line, so I can port it anywhere. They aren't an ISP that does "deals" though, so not suitable for you.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
