An unwell child needs to be brought back to UK ??

You cannot just randomly adopt a child.
Back to the immediate issue - who is the next of kin? Does she have travel insurance, and if so have they looked into medical repatriation?
....Noooo...this is not a random adoption......I have known her for 6 years and she is the best friend of my 9 yr old son too and she alwys called me uncle (:()....great child and i wish i can do something.
No, we dont know about travel insurance.... NOR the next of kin....NOR anything else as both parents are no longer alive and before the father left he never mentioned about any travel insurance to me. he was close to me and said almost everything to me.
thank you all.0 -
If they had dual nationality, which passport did they enter India with?
If it was their British Passport then fine, the UK should help.
But if they used their Indian Passport then their unfortunate accident isn't a UK problem, and that's often the case these days
What Travel Insurance did they have?0 -

I'm guessing that the hospital will try to establish this fairly quickly.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Maybe the parents had wills that specified their wishes for what would happen to their daughter?
How terribly sad.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

sorry mate...but the hospitals back in India...they dont care as long as they get their money for treatment which the girls uncles and aunts will have to cope with....nothing is free in india, even for a head ache you gotta pay to doctors fee.0 -
Can someone set up a JustGiving page for the costs?:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
