Drivers licence sent! Tax form filled and sent! Expenses filled and almost sent, just need a stamp! Oh feeling organised!

Went to the Blue Planet aquarium, pre bought the tickets online and save £9.60 on tickets for me, hubby and my dad, nephews got in free as they are only tiddly! Blummin good savings and lovely day.

Going to cancel months free trial of kindle unlimited before it starts costing me £8 a month, got loads of free books to read so that fine.

Went out for my friends birthday tea last night at the Hut, tried to be MSE about it so went for the meal deal which saved us a fair few quid so thats good, and it tasted yummy.

Having a house day today and really hoping my emergency tax may be sorted before I get paid next week would come in handy for holiday fund as we are thinking of going to Brighton for a cheap and cheerful 5days for my birthday next year, love adventuring!

    Ahh happy saturday everyone!

Tax hasnt been sorted on wages, but thats ok Im sure it will make Dec happier! Did get more money than I was expecting so have put it away safe in case they want it back! Would be great if it was mine though...

All my money has been moved around for the month and I feel all organised! Frustratingly I went into my overdraft last month so not going to let CHRISTMAS!!!!!! make me too excited and spendy...that will be very hard as I freaking love it!

Another month down, normal overpayment of £170 and an extra £100 I gathered together, balance is now £184,342.05! That appears to be £496.96 paid off which seems more than I expected so it may be wrong! LTV is now 94.53%, getting closer to that 90%!

Ah do love a good mortgage payment, every one is a step closer to Mortgage Freedom!

  • Well done with the overpaying, doesn't it feel great! I like that you work out your LTV each month I am going do mine to see if that adds to my addiction! Hope you're nicely settled in, your house sounds beautiful! Only slightly jealous of the underfloor heating!

Hi Cream Tea! I love overpaying, feels so good! N@twest show our LTV so I dont have to work it out, the downside is that if you go onto it at any other time of the month it just goes up which is frustrating!!

I am quite in love with the house! And the under floor heating is best in the bathroom feels lovely on your feet on the tiles! In the lounge its lovely and warm but not sure you can really feel it on your feet!

Turns out the bonus is mine, so thinking of an extra £100 overpayment to the mortgage tomorrow! Have bought 100 hawthorn hedges about 3ft in height for £90 and another 4 or 5 trees that I am so excited to have in the garden (not necesarily looking forward to planting them myself!!) got it all including delivery for £146 which came from the house fund. I want Privet hedging for the other side but thats quite expensive so might use my bonus for that as the sooner its planted the sooner it will grow big and tall!

Horrid weather here today though, raining and hailing so the garden looks boggy and horrid, dogs are under the quilt snoozing as they are more fair weather dogs if they can help it!

Just made an overpayment of £170 on top of the normal £170 (from my bonus!) so thats £340 overpayed this month which feels very good! Need to have paid off another 5% by renewel so we will have 90%LTV. Figured thats hopefully going to make a difference so every penny will count towards that and hopefully it wont end up being painful and needing to find an extra thousand or so at renewel time!!

Hubby has looked at his finances since he got a pay rise and is earning overtime, he is going to pay an extra £100 a month into the house account, which he said £50 was for mortgage and the other £50 was for Vegas fund! Have now upped overpayments to £220 a month as a direct debit, this will make a huge difference and I am so excited that he is on board! No more increases now though, this is as much as I want leaving the accounts regularly. Any other money I decide to pay I will do adhoc!

    Feeling so excited!

Have planted more trees today, a 6ft silver birch, 6ft almond tree, 3 elderflower trees at 2ft and a wild cherry tree at 4ft, Im so pleased with my mini woodland! Most of these we have planted ourselves, the originals were the Hazel, Willow, two eating apple trees and cooking apple tree, they had so much fruit it was amazing! The other trees we have added are a silver alba, 2 red acers, a plum tree, a peach tree and a non wild cherry tree. Can't wait till Spring!

Only planted three of the hundred wild hawthorn bushes as weather has been poop, hailing then raining all with wind added in, so as they are dormant we decided to not rush and shall do some more tomorrow. The horse manure that was left has come in useful and is composting nicely so been added into the new tree holes.

Christmas tree is up and looking great, got hubbys piano here and he has been practicing ready for his birthday party where we will be gathering everyone for a sing song!

Got the @ldi voucher from the newspaper so plan on making the most out of it and getting some nice irish cream for Christmas and lots of mince pies for when people come round.
