Sometimes when I'm driving I'll be on a roundabout and completely forget where I'm going. Doesn't happen often but is a bit scarey when it does.
When I was a child I had petit mal and often forgot what I had been speaking about. Its was fairly mild and I grew out of it, so its not necessarily something bad but is something you should get checked out.0 -
I am sometimes forgetful, but it gets far worse when I'm stressed (seems to be constant the last few years). I find concentration exercises and puzzle games improve my memory and meditation helps with the stress.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.

Thank you all so much for your responses!
Seems I am not alone
It has been causing more and more issues lately as I can't remember things, and then my partner thinks that I am lying, because I say what I think I would have done/said.
Iron deficiancy has been mentioned to me before, but not to do with memory loss- are there other symptoms to iron deficiancy, as i can't remember why it was mentioned before - haha!
I may try taking notes as to what I am saying, but then I suppose I will be taking them all flipping day.
So frustrating!!! :mad:0 -
Have you seen your GP about this? If you haven't, you really should. It's against the rules to use the forums for medical advice, plus it's really not a safe way to get a diagnosis.:coffee:Coffee +3 Dexterity +3 Willpower -1 Ability to Sleep
Playing too many computer games may be bad for your attention span but it Critical Hit!0 -
I am a bit forgetful yes. I tend to put something somewhere, and then forget where I put it, but I remember important stuff.
It's funny how we forget where we put our keys or purse, and suchlike, but we don't forget to go to work, or to have a shower, or to make breakfast etc. The memory is a strange thing imo.(•_•)

I sometimes get this.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but I sometimes forget my exact age and have to work it out! (I know i'm either 27 or 28!)
I recently woke up and needed to go and withdraw some money, but I completely forgot my pin no, even though i'd used it every week for the last 6 years or so!
Interesting someone mentioned depression.
I've never seen a GP, but I think It's likely a result of stress (partly brought on by anxiety) and also depression (again, probably in part due to anxiety)
My other theory is that i'm low in testosterone, although Dr. was not willing to investigate that theory of mine unfortunately.0
