Refund only in vouchers

No the op used the voucher as part payment, if they wanted cash back they should have returned the whole order and started again.
I disagree, there should.be no point in having to return the goods. It should be obvious the the seller that if the op was buying goods to the value of £65 they would have used their £30 voucher.0 -
I am in agreement with bris here for the reasons stated0

Surely the vendor has the right to refund in any of the payment methods used? There is no right to expect or demand that one refund method take precedence of another. Yet its the laws opinion when you order multiple items you have a contract for each item (unless it was a table and chairs purchased as a package for example instead of individually).
Whether OP ordered £60 or £160 worth of goods, they wouldve paid the same amount by voucher.
Payment in full by voucher and refund in cash is a betterment for the consumer and disadvantage for the supplier. Partial payment in vouchers and cash with refund in vouchers first is betterment for the supplier and disadvantage for the consumer.
Not to mention it may be an unfair/misleading trade practice if the average consumer is likely to take a different decision as a result. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
