In April I paid into a Nationwide ISA the maximum amount for that time. Now (after July) can I top that up in the exact same account?

When in April was the payment made?0

Assuming this was made on or after 6 April, it would depend on the provider and what deal you have chosen. If it was a fixed rate ISA then theres a good chance that you can't add to it anymore.Stephen Covey once said that "when you teach once, you learn twice". That is the primary reason for my participation on the forums as an IFA.
Although I strive to provide accurate information in my posts, there may be the odd time when I fail. Yes I know it's hard to believe but even Your Hero can make mistakes. Apologies in advance.0 -
Money put in after April 6 2014 deadline, and not a fixed rate (was the Nationwide E Isa).0

In that case it looks as if you can top it up to this years max of £15000.The_stingemeister wrote: »Money put in after April 6 2014 deadline, and not a fixed rate (was the Nationwide E Isa).0 -
Existing account holders can still pay into the Nationwide e-ISA but you should review the interest rate you get. "e-ISA" seems to be 1.75%, "e-ISA 6" a mere 1% (http://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/support-articles/rates-fees-charges/savings-rates)
It might make a lot more sense to save up the additional money in a good interest paying current account, and then make the ISA deposit at the very end of March 2015 (when a transfer of the entire ISA to a better one might also be on the cards).0
