contracts - any special offers ?

this might be a naive questions - apols !

A neighbour tells me that a couple of years back he took out a monthly contract and was given an i pad as an "incentive". So my questions are - does this sound feasible and if so does anyone know of similar offers now ?

Yes it does ......however there's no such thing as a free lunch as they say and you would usually find the cost is factored into the price for the contract so not really free as such

I agree. The price of the monthly line rental will be noticeably higher than a "normal" contract to subsidise the "free" ipad.
