Too short connection time in Helsinki?

Airlines and airports only ever quote minimum connection times, but if they believe that the connection isn't possible, they will refuse to issue the tickets, because they know full well that they will be responsible for the passenger making it to the connectiong flight if all sectors are issued on one ticket. Thanks, did you mean MAXIMUM connection time?
In response to your later query, I looked into booking with Tripsta for a recent trip to Greece, but decided against this because the fare was unrealisticaly low compared to the airline. The major airlines won't be sure of their flight times so far in advance, but as they have an existing 'supply' agreement with Flybe, they may take your booking for next year. I would expect the times to be slightly different to this years, but it's still well worth calling the airline directly to discuss it.
Thankfully, Finnair are one of the easier airlines to deal with directly and I've only had good experiences talking to their direct sales team. Wish the same could be said of certain other airlines...

Ah, yes, I see what you mean now regarding the connection times, sorry I misunderstood. Thanks again for your all your advice - I will call them directly tomorrow to see what they say, I'd much rather just deal with them directly at the end of the day.0 -
Ive donr that stop over, it's doable as long as no delays UK end, they have u waiting at the door then it's a mad dash to meet the connection.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

The cheapest I have seen the tickets is on Tripsta.co.uk. Are they OK to deal with?
Depends on how risk-aversive you are. I wouldn't book from them myself.

Is there are any particular reason you are looking to book so far in advance? You'll get more options and likely cheaper prices if you wait.0 -
Tbh, I didnt even think about it, I assumed that by issuing the ticket the connection was doable.
Try budgetair too, have got some good deals, ldn to bkk over the last couple of years going direct with eva.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Yes, my credit card 0% on purchases runs out soon, so am looking to make the purchase, then balance transfer kind of thing.
I hadn't realised that prices would get cheaper, thought they'd go up if anything?0 -
My sister did the Finnair route from Sydney to Manchester for my Dads Funeral last year. She went SYD-SIN with BA, SIN-HEL with FA and HEL-MAN with Flybe, her luggage went straight through and the flybe flight was great she said.
It is a code share with a number of airlines from HEL-MAN, so you shouldn't have any problems and if so, they will have to sort out another flight for you.0 -
If finnair don't have the tickets at a similar price then Tripsta won't have them either.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
