    I would give £100 too and generally a small token gift along with it, like a photo frame, or preferably something personal I know the couple will like!


    When we got married we the minimum we got from a couple was £80, maximum was £500.


    (Although we are based in Northern Ireland and I think Ireland is more generous when it comes to wedding gifts - and presents are generally higher here)

  • I would say whatever you can afford - what is the point of bankrupting yourself for the sake of a present? I would be mortified if anyone did that for my theoretical wedding :/
