I recently took a flight to Tampa from Manchester. It was booked through Iberia and the flight numbers were Iberia, but the actual airline was American Airlines. The flight was Manchester - New York - Tampa. They cancelled the New York - Tampa leg and offered some ridiculous alternatives. However, the best alternative that I agreed with came in 3 hours later than the original booked flights. Very confused....can I claim for anything and if so who with....Iberia or AA? Your help would be much appreciated.

Was it a single ticket journey both flights AA? If so you are probably due compensation - read this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5042802If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
