The last week has seemed like a long week even with the bank holiday monday.
They were setting up for a festival in the garden next door to me, they have been banging and hammering everyday between Wed and fri from 6am until atleast 9pm. The yesterday the festival started from 4.45pm until 1.30 am this morning, and started again at 11.30am today and will be going on till 20.00pm this evening.

In money news OH received some money from the health fund, I can only assume this was back pay from when OH was sick at the end of last year and was paid 3 days short of sick pay.
This money has been saved into the sick fund pot.

A small payment of £6.00 has been paid towards the UK debts, I am hoping that at the end of next month I will be able to make an offer for a F+F, all things going well and I will be able to make 2. :)

OH has sent work hours to both Co #1 and #2
2 loads of washing was done last night and hung up to dry.

Need to get online shopping list done so I can collect it on Sat.
Also need to do a months end of money, any left over can go towards mortgage O/P.

Still need to do the jobs off last weeks list, hoping I can get them done next weekend.

Online shopping was done and collected, we used some vouchers to get extra points on the shopping, we managed to get 560 points on the shopping and after 500 points we got a 5€ off voucher for the next shopping, with the points we already had we still have 324 points towards the next 5€ voucher. :)

Wages from CO#1 & 2 has been paid and wage slips have been received for OH and I for both companies, some money has been set aside for taxes and the rest has been added to the catogories in YNAB.

Starting this week OH and I have less hrs, 1 of the places we work has closed for 3 weeks for the yearly maintenance, it has been nice the last few days not having to be in work at 6am and for 3 weeks we will have sat and sunday off work instead of just sunday. The only downside of this is we won't get paid for the hours we are losing, we have know about this for a few months and have saved for this, we will also have another period in july/aug where we work less hours for 5 week but it will be less hrs we are losing then now, again we have saved to cover the period in july/aug.

Last month we saved 47.40€ from the shopping budget so this has been added to the mortgage OP.

Mortgage payment has gone out of the bank.
Some money has been paid towards the UK debts payments of £5 and £23.50 and signature has been updated.

Am counting down the days till I can make an offer on 1 of the 2 smallest debts. I am hoping that I can clear a bigger debt too, all the UK debts are on 0% interest free.

Bread is baking in the BM and should be ready soon :)

Worked extra hrs on Monday and Wed this week to cover some hrs we will have lost over the 3 week period, this week we did an extra 9 hrs and next week we have an extra 4 hrs so far to cover some of next weeks hrs that we lose. The downside to doing these hrs is that I am still in work at 6am on those days.

We cycled to work on Tue afternoon and then again on Wed morning and afternoon, I have moved over some money to the O/P pot, this is the amount that work would pay us petrol money.

So far this month we have saved 36.65€ towards O/P. making it a total of 394.75€

Advance wages from both CO #1 and #2 have been paid, this has been saved for july's payments.:T

Hopefully only 8 days till I can make an overpayment to clear a debt and offer a F&F on another debt.:)

Cycled to work a few more times saving another 2.75€ in petrol costs, that has been moved to O/P pot.

Worked tue and wed mornings at another location to cover the hrs we were losing this week. Next week we are back to location 1, not sure if we are working location 2 Wed, thurs and fri next week, location 2 will be closed the week after and for the next 3 weeks, will be back in location 2 for 3 weeks in Aug then closed for the last week and back there again from Sept . Work are a bit slow at communication, I did ask my supervisor about next week but she needed to confirm with her boss and was suppose to email me back the info, still waiting for that.:naughty:

Worked at company #2 this week, need to email the hours off for that, will probably do that tomorrow evening when I email company #1 hours.

2 more days until I can make some payments. :T

On saturday I made a payment of £4112.50 to clear one of my debts,:jI had challenged myself 6 years ago to clear this debt on the 27th june this year and I did it. :j:j

I also emailed off an offer for a full and final, the company decided that I needed to fill in an income and expenditure to see if I could make this payment I had offered, so have emailed that back to them and am now waiting for a reply, a simple yes or no would have done it.

OH contacted work this morning to find out about work location 2 for the last 3 days of this week, we do work there, which means any money to cover the time off we have saved can be used for something else.

Need to get an online order together for food shopping this week otherwise it means I have to go shopping, which I am not too keen on lol.

Managed to save €49.31 from June's shopping budget which makes an overall saving in June of €88.71
Interest paid on savings €7.02 both these amounts have been added to mortgage O/P bringing a total of €446.81 saved till the end of June, once this reaches €500 this will either be paid as an O/P to the mortgage or it will saved till I get €1000 and then make the payment.

Online shopping for the month was done last week, and was under budget, have kept some money back for top up shops so will see if there is anything left at the end of the month.

OH needed new glasses and sunglasses so they have been paid for and collected, should get some money back for these from the health fund here. ;)

Payments made to the UK debts of £6 and £5

Still hadn't heard about the offer of a full and final settlement which I made just over a week ago so I called them, they advised me that the offer had been accepted and it had been sent out in the post, I made the payment over the phone and will receive a confirmation email tomorrow. The debt was for £1358 and I paid them £951 which was 70% of the debt saving myself £407. :money::j

Been ill with the flu for the last 2 weeks, feeling better now but still not completely better, have still been working and did some hours to cover some of the hours we were losing from july, one day of extra work I did call my boss and tell her there was noway I could do the extra work as I was ill and that was the day that I was at my worst.

OH needed new glasses the other day, we were able to get some money back from the health fund for the cost of the eye test and glasses, this money has been put back into the savings fund that it came from.

Some small payments have been put aside for the next full and final, this will probably take a while to save enough money for this.

£15.00 paid to the UK debts today.

The supermarket that we use for our main shopping gives points when you shop, we also get a monthly pack which gives us extra points for certain items, I try and only buy items that we would normally to get the points. When we did our last main shop we had enough points for a €5 voucher and we had enough points with our shopping to be back up to over 300 points, one of the items for points was 200 if we spent €25 in a pet shop that is also part of the same points scheme, so this month we got the pet food from this other store and got another €5 voucher. Both of these vouchers have been added to the rest of this months shopping money and the cash value has been put into the OP pot.

Yesterday we made some chicken curry, some sweet n sour sauce n chicken, both these have been put in the freezer to be eaten later in the month/ next month. Also made goulash for dinner and the rest will either be eaten today or I will freeze this to be eaten at a later date.

Wow nearly 3 weeks since I last posted on here

Since I last posted I went back to the doctors to find out why I was still so ill and the Dr confirmed that I had bronchitis and gave me some antibiotics to take for 5 days, I still don't feel much better, I think I now have a cold.

Had to go to the dentist yesterday to have my tooth fixed as I have had a chip in it for a month or two, had that tooth fixed but the dentist said I need a filling or something on another tooth so will have to go back again for that, have made the appointment for the end of the month so I don't have to wait too long for that. Yesterdays appointment cost me 112€ but I will get about 94€ back from the health fund.

Have paid £5 to the UK debts and made a payment of 840.72€ to the mortgage.

The main monthly shopping has been done and so far we are under budget, hope we still come in under budget at the end of the month, we will still have to do top up shops throughout the month but hoping we don't need too much.

Have done a few jobs today and still have loads more to do

    So far we have
    made bread
done the washing and it is now hanging out to dry
    updated YNAB

    Still need to
    unload the dishwasher
email work 1 and 2 with hours
make chilli and then freeze it
make 2 portions of chicken curry (1 portion for today and then freeze the other for later in the month)
Work out time schedule for next weeks work,
Walk round to the health fund and put claim in letterbox
Send email to work & asking them to confirm vacation for end of the month (only been waiting a month now for this confirmation)

Quick coffee and then make a start on this lot.

Still have to do some jobs from last weekend and have added a few more onto the list, should be able to get most of it done this weekend latest, we have Sat off from work as it is a holiday here, when we normally work split shifts on Sat.

Need to do this weekend latest
    • Work out time schedule for rest of this week and next weeks
    • Walk round to the health fund and put claim in letterbox
    • Send email to work & asking them to confirm vacation for end of the month (only been waiting a month now for this confirmation)
    • Book Sept vacation
    • Book Nov/ Dec vacation
    • Go Townhouse
    • Book appointment with Embassy
    • Collect pill prescription
    • Buy cheap headphones OH and I
    • Check work #2 order and adjust order if need be
    • Notify work #2 of aug vacation
Have received Payslips for both work #1 and #2 so have work out how much needs to be put by for taxes and started to save some money for OH and I for retirement.

Have received a bill for both province tax and cadastral tax, which I have paid both straight away, as I knew I had enough money in this category in YNAB to cover these.

Also seen pending from my bank account that both OH and my life insurance are due to be paid on friday, will be glad these are paid for another year and there is more then enough money in this category in YNAB to cover these.
