It's the behaviour of a compulsive gambler. He / she sold the house and at that point started gambling with his / her future and hasnt been able to stop since. With almost nothing to play with he/she still haunts the gambling establishment, which in this case is housing forums trying to chase the loss that he/she can't bring himself to accept has been lost for good.
It's the housing equivalent of smoking fags all day outside the bookies, mumbling angry thoughts with empty pockets after a life of blowing hard earned cash on the horses.
We probably shouldn't be too mean, if I'm on the money, it is just a horrible addiction like all the others.
The first steps to overcoming this addiction is saying the words out loud, 'my name is Crashy and I'm a crashoholic '.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -

You are a clown who has leveraged up his own little property Ponzi and spends time on the internet chasing down anyone who challenges endless HPI.0 -
You sold to rent before 1997? What a pioneer.
Had to move to a different part of the country, broke about even on the sale, no big deal. The Ponzi Forever meme wasn`t even on the horizon at that time, early 90`s. We will soon be back to a point where property is just something you live in for a while and sell if you have to. People getting their knickers in a twist on here about how it is going to stay at forever silly valuations are going to look silly, and broke.0 -

How many times do I have to explain we are not leveraged! We have less than £700k mortgages on approx. £5m property, that is not leveraged! To underline the point we have much more than £700k in other investments anyway (not property).
I don't spend that much time on here either, check my average daily posts, I think that it less than 3 per day.

Say after me...I.O I.O it`s off to work I go (If I`ve still got a job after the Global Ponzi implodes :rotfl:)0 -

You are just another leveraged up troll, why else would you lurk around here all the time? As I have said before, why not cash in your 5 million and enjoy yourself, unblocking toilets all the time must get boring?0 -

Do you imagine that I actually unblock toilets? Rather than having British Gas maintenance contracts on all my properties, where the tenants call BG directly? What a fool you are, you fail at every post you make :rotfl:
EDIT: I do enjoy myself, my hobbies are running, cycling, swimming (I'm doing my first triathlon next year), looking after my dog, chess, bowls and all the usual things with friends and family. I am retiring from work next year so that I can enjoy myself even more. Didn`t know gas could block your toilet, but live and learn eh?
I imagine that you started buying property in the 90`s, started getting a bit overconfident in the Ponzi years, when the credit was flying about like confetti, and then started bricking it a bit when things started to look dodgy, and took to the internet to offset your worry with endless trolling of property forums?0 -

Sorry, it`s not a dating site. Why not enjoy yourself even more, cash in the 5 million, spend your time running and doing all the great stuff?0 -

Well no surprise there you got it all wrong again:
1. BG do most (if not all) property maintenance.
2. I've explained my financial position why on earth would I be worried? It isn't just game over, it was game over years ago.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0
