i know it well
we currently have two houses up for sale on farmilo road
one in much better shape than the other
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-32150559.html
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-32138619.html
both on for the same asking price
which is £36,000 lower than the previous sale on the street
of course, the bulls will shout out "oh, the last sold house was far superior to those two match boxes" as they always do
but
every day
the price of a london house drops that little bit further
drip by drip
drop by tiny drop
the day of the bear approacheth
and farmilo road drops that little bit further
BUT, BUT ONS SAID PRICES ARE AT RECORD HIGHS?!0 -

The last house that sold on Farmilo Road was Number 74 which sold for £461k at the end of April achieving a high for that street. The previous sale for this street with coincidentally Number 74 which went for £250k at the end of January.
One of the links you provided http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-32138619.html shows it's sold STC at £425k - the second highest price achieved on that street.
I'm afraid that doesn't mean prices have fallen 8% since January. On balance I think the ONS methodology is going to be more robust than a random guy on the internet using Property Bee and a sample size of about 8 houses.0 -

the ONS told us yesterday that unemployment was just over 2million and inflation is down to 1.5%
i think any random guy (or gal) knows that is not the case0 -

I'm intrigued, do explain.....0 -
The shoe will be on the other foot should labour get in, people bereft of property will be arguing other people's property is worth a fortune and property owners will be desperate to make out to the world that their property is worth less. ...

You have no idea how 74 for compares to the one at £425k.0 -

Sigh, so it's simply your worthless opinion based on no data or analysis, just "the man on the street knows..... "0 -

It's the usual modus operandi of a deluded bear.
When actual data, hard facts and stats contradict their discredited theories, the only way out is 'government manipulation' or some other conspiracy theory.
The next step is tuning in to Max Keiser and/or buying bitcoins
Then they end up queuing for the loo in some Edinburgh HMO at the age of 45.
It's all rather sad.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0
