Asking prices might have come down slightly in places like Wood green, tottenham, edmonton and places where buyers in their panic have overlooked the significant feral barbarian population who aren't going anywhere for a very long time.
Anything a little bit nice in a good area like Hendon or Finchley is still going up.

Wood green's high street has just had millions spent on it. There is a massive new secondary school just built right near the tube. Alexandra Palace is having millions spent on it. The 24 hour tube will be arriving very soon and the demographic of the place is changing fast because of the recent bun fight to buy into the area.

Don't expect wood green to be crashing anytime soon.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

But crashy says everyone is over leveraged as it's a ponzi, made up of liar loans and greedy parasites. Surely he wouldn't just assert this without evidence:D

Hope you're right, massive secondary school = yob factory, and demographics takes generations to change. They don't replace the barbarians with yummy mummies, they just squeeze more of them in.

had a little rightmove browse at wood green over the weekend:
76 houses for sale compared with 53 in may,
19 of those had had the price cut compared with 5 in may
2 of those had had the price increased compared 5 in may
expect wood green to steadily drift downwards in the medium term

    give it up wotsit
    its over
i've been calling a correction, not a crash
    and its happening
  • well, well, well
even the mighty tottenham is not immune to a little correction
    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-31046499.html
i viewed the (tiny) last sold when it was up for £245k
looks like ellis and co have bypassed the kite flying and gone straight for the stamp duty threshold

Funny old correction - one sold on the same street last July (when you pulled out because of the bubble) for £70k less.
