p.s and yet again when I log on for the rare occasion you just happen to be logged on YET AGAIN, this really is serious obsessional stuff

Is it more or less obsessional than logging onto a forum purely to post abuse at someone who was mean to you on the internet 1 year ago?

bubble & squeak - I'm a homeowner of 23 years, looking for a london bolt hole. I would buy that rubbish for 2 reasons. Firstly my 23 years experience of buying new build has been virtually maintenance free. Secondly I wouldn't expect the new build places to be full of noisy students, benefits tenants who don't give a toss about the property etc.
My perception is that if I buy older property in zone 1 I risk being next door to a crack den or noisy students. Perhaps the new build are somewhat overpriced but if that means I'm unlikely to live next door to a crack den or the kind of people who might mug me them I'll take it.

At the moment we are mortgage barred so we are renting for 1 year (not brand new but the flats at st George's wharf look rather nice actually). Won't be buying for at least a year but please educate me if there is some reason I shouldn't buy new build. I really would be grateful if there's something I'm missing.

    the prices.
    artificially inflated by foreign investors.
once that flow of money stops...
  • It might have been had I "purely" come on here just to post on this one board??

Do you ever post anything that is accurate or not kiss ar*e to one of your mantra loving gang members on here?

You've only posted on the debate house price page, so yeah you did purely come on here to abuse some random poster who upset you 1 yr ago. :rotfl:

Nationwide is saying 16th month Straight HPI increase after august plus 0.8 nationwide stats released. Not sure the London increase stats.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

Come on Foxy. Nearly 100% of your posts are trolling me. That's the main reason you set up the account after your e- breakdown. Is it a mancrush?

Good news on the smallholding BTW. Is it on Rightmove?

this could be the final bomad bidding war:

and still they fight over a crumby victorian slum

142 sq meters is quite a big house and all brand spanking new on the inside. Garden lets it down though.

P.s shock horror, you are on site now lol... try and grow a backbone mate and not hang up and say hello next time you make a dodgy phone call.

I don't need to call you. You're the moth and I'm the flame.

the last house on our street sold for £303,000 that means our one is worth £320,000
    why?
    because of uncontrolled immigration
because there is a shortage of housing
because house prices always go up
because there are 16 buyers for every property for sale
    fast forward 4 weeks...

Just out of interest, given all the things you've learnt in the last few pages, did you actually find anything out about the other one that sold aside from "it's on the same street"?

  • sorry bulls but looks like walthamstow is in free fall
5 of todays 11 entries have had the asking price reduced
and that was most likely the same asking price which recorded a record fall a few short weeks ago
the summer lull shows no sign of abating
