  • Prince 2 would be a help for project management within IT in the public sector, it was actually a public sector creation that has now been marketed out.

Any upper level IT jobs within the public service will have it as a desirable.

It sounds good, however is there anything lower down more related to IT such as SQL that would be an aid for a Business Analyst to have?

I would have thought that your best route into an IT job is to start at the bottom, in a programming or testing role. Without actual experience, I would have thought it would be particularly difficult to just jump into a Business Analyst role straight off the bat.

I think NI22 is looking for a course that will give them skills to be able to either enhance their skill's armour with a BA qualification or get a useful IT skill.
