Well I suggest you pay attention to what you deliver.
You delivered a D2D on the implementation of leave with neighbour, this includes Signed for & Tracked items.
nor i or anyone in our office delivered such d2d items & seeing has they sometimes take as long to prep as normal mail, sure i'd have noticed, my home is under another d/o and i never received one from there either,
1st we heard of it was a briefing about it last month0 -

Well you must live in a very special area of the UK.
No national posting.
Leave with neighbour doesn't include signed for
Only heard of leave with neighbour last month.
seen any of these?
Heres what the trial offices put out in 20110 -
leaving "signed for" with neighbours acc to our monthly magazine only started in june/july this year

whether its also in an earlier edition i don't know because i rarely read their propaganda
but regardless of your superior knowledge of all things RM our office had a wtl in july to tell us to improve ftd we must now attempt every "signed for" with a neighbour too except SD
prior to that our manager used to insist "do not let ANYONE other than a person at the addressed item sign for anything.
and i repeat, we HAVE NOT delivered any households about it this year0 -

Yes you have missed the whole hoo ha.
The national coverage in the media
There are obviously no opt outs any where in your area either.
Leave with neighbour has existed since 2012 on a national basis. As has been posted in this thread.
This has always included RD & Tracked items. When is delivery to neighbour being rolled out nationally?
Following Ofcom approval, Delivery to neighbour was rolled out nationally from Monday 1 October 2012.
So no,you didnt deliver a D2D this year. You did it 2 years ago.

We will continue to request a signature for Royal Mail Signed For™ items. Where Delivery to Neighbour is applied we will request that the accepting neighbour provides this signature. The only exception to this is citations (which carry the appropriate instruction on the envelope) sent Royal Mail Signed For™ by the Scottish Courts where were have a legal requirement to deliver as addressed
The Courier article is simple pushing home the message to increase RMs FTD % to try and match competitors levels.0 -
You can opt out by putting a sticker on your letterbox.0
