It's funny coming across this thread because I was e-mail the St Vincent de Paul in Lurgan the other day asking them if they take second hand paperback novels. They haven't replied to me yet. I see somebody said that Lurgan Railway Station take them. I might give them a ring because I hate throwing books away but I want to clear out my bookshelves to make room for serious books.0

As I think I have already said Lurgan Station does indeed take books. Just leave them on the table at the exit door to the Belfast bound platform where you get your tickets.0 -

I knew somebody had said it. Thank you for reminding me who it was. With the quantity of books I have in mind I think I'd like to talk to the stationmaster first but I need to wait until the St Vincent de Paul get back to me as I've given them first dibs. They do so much good work so I always try them first when I'm disposing of something. It might do some good for some poor creature who's down on his or her luck.0
