I had a spend of £4.48 yesterday on squash, pop and milk. I am starting to get very low on fresh fruit and veg now though and I am also on my last packet of stock cubes.
I will have to get a list put together but I want to stay under £5.
I have made a quiche to use up a few stalks of frozen broccoli and we will have it for lunches tomorrow.
I'm also going to make a list of what has been in the freezer the longest and use this to meal plan for next weeks meals.
To help with the fruit we are going blackberry picking later and will get as many as possible to freeze.
I always see those onions on mysupermarket but I have never found them in store, none of the staff know what I am on about when I've asked for them either£36/£240

I had a wonderful week last week - only one trip to the shops, and left it until we were completely out of fresh fruit and veg, and could see the back of the fridge and cupboards!
I planned a Sainsbob's shop on the weekend, as we had a £6 off £30 coupon mailed to us. Spent £39.53 for loads of items, including 4x blueberries reduced to 10p, and portobello + large pack of white mushrooms at 10p a pack. I now have a big container of frozen blueberries in the freezer - makes me feel great as I don't like blackberries and haven't had berries in the freezer for quite some time.
Then spent just over £25 yesterday in an unplanned trip to ASDA - bought a Tefal saut! pan reduced from £24 to £15 then I found a SEL for £8 - so excited for this as it has a lid and I always make such a mess making bolognaise, etc. Also spent £6 on two bottles of Canadian maple syrup. Should have bought more of this really as it was a great price, and I'm a bit of a maple syrup snob as I'm CanadianSwagbucks Amazon gift vouchers 2014 125/250

Meal plan for this week:
Tuesday - HM Vegetable Tikka Masala with onion bhajis (from the freezer) and rice
Wednesday - Vegetable fajitias (I was going to make my own wraps but found 3 packs in the cupboard, should probably use those up first!). Used up the last of the yoghurt last night (doh) and can't remember if we have any salsa so will probably need to pick bits up tonight
Thursday - I'm out, but OH will probably have a pizza
Friday - Spinach and feta chickpea burgers with HM bread rolls if I'm organised enough and wedges if not!
Saturday - Out for a meal with family
Made a delicious dessert last night - chopped frozen bananas in the food processor with a spoonful of peanut butter and nutella, YUM! And it's kind of healthy...November GC: £50.55/£130. October GC: £72.60/£150

If you find them could you let me have some more info please (such as which section of the store they're in). I think I'd find it useful to have these in the house, but I can't find anything on their website

The onions are in the veg isle but they are 4kg not 5kg as I thought I think I am getting mixed up with Morrisons who do the 5kg sack for 2.49, to be honest I don't think the price is that good you could possibly do better on a local market/
Anyway old fool that I am I realised I still have half a sack of the ones I got free in Morrisons with the voucher so have prepared them and they are in the dehydrator now.
I also checked my stock of dried mushrooms and they are low too so will be looking for a good price.Slimming World at target0 -
Am sorting out my shopping and not sure yet what to count in this months budget what in next, or November and whats going to DD or DIL.
Got loads of reduced in Morrisons.
but just wanted
to post that if anyone has a Heron store they have 3.8 kg turkeys for 5.50, says best before September 2014 but these will easily keep to Christmas or be the basis of soe really cheap meals so you can save the money til Christmas.Slimming World at target0
