LG Prada
 I took out a contract at Phone4U with a LG Prada phone. Had the phone 5 weeks and when texting the letters or numbers kept repeating so I took into the shop where the assistant agreed that there was a fault. 4 weeks later I rang the service ctr number and was told that they couldn't find a fault and I would have to pay £17+ to get the phone back. I am furious that they agreed in the shop it was faulty and the phone was only 5 weeks old at the time. Can anyone help me as to what I should do next or do I have to pay the £17+ to get the phone back. TY.

go to the store ....
Also you should be able to claim that from the insurance0 -
Thanks - I called into the store and was given a card with a customer services number on it and told it was not their problem as repairs are sent to another repairing company. I will give the insurance a ring now and see what they say. thanks for advice.0

Update on this - I rang the repair company and they told me that they had checked again and still could not find a fault. But my gripe is that when I took the phone into Phones4U they were the ones that told me to send it for repair after they agreed that there was a fault. Now I have had to pay £17 to get it sent back. I can't claim this back from the insurance as I have to pay £50 excess, so no good going down this route. The second girl I spoke to in Phones4U told me to go into Carphone Warehouse who have an onsite engineer and ask them to test it free and if they do find a fault, get a report and send it to them to claim my money back. Very long winded for £17 but it is now principle. Will try next week when I get the phone back. :mad:0
