hi guys , bought a 12 plate car last week which in the advert came with front and rear park assist. its not the main decider to buy the car but I thought it was a nice extra to have.
now having had the car and had a good play with things this option is not on the car. Looked through the manual and this feature is definitely not an option on my car, did mention it to the dealer when they rang me for something different and they said they cant find the advert but would look for it and ring me back, as of yet - No Phonecall
is it worth following this up or just forget about it

What make and model is the car?
    Where was it purchased?
Do you have a copy of the advert, hard copy or on a computer/phone?
Take a lot at your sales documents, does it specify anything about vehicle specification?

quick reply guys.. Its a ford focus and the park assist as I understand it parks the car in a gap for you , you just operate the accelerator.
yes I have a copy of the advert on my pc and the sales doc is just the usual sales sheet no vehicle specs

That is a topline extra on any ford,I have a ford grand cmax titanium at the minute and the park assist would have been optional on it also, dont think I could ever trust it anyway....

What would you like them to do if they wrongly described the car as having it? Retro fit it? Compo?

I think we all need some clarification here.

AIUI Front and Rear Park Assist is the sensors and beeper system - nothing more.

Whereas the much more expensive Auto Park Assist is where you press a button and the car automatically parallel parks without the driver's hands on the wheel.

Check the advert carefully for the word 'Auto'.

Who are you to suppose anything about me?
Simple question. What. Do. You. Want?
