mobile phone cashback

A couple of weeks ago I noticed there were contract deals online for pretty rubbish mobile phones but with AUTOMATIC cash back of about £400 paying about £28 per month


I've looked recently and there doesn't seem to be as many sites doing cash back anymore. I've seen a few deals that offer about £300 but you have to pay between £40-£50 per month even for a rubbish non smartphone, or deals for slightly better phones, for about £50-100 automatic cash back.


What I am looking for is a deal with about £350 cash back, paying approx. £28 per month. I'm not after a decent phone. It doesn't need to be a smart phone, just one that rings and texts really. (VERY BASIC)


Has anyone seen anything like this? I've looked at the usual comparison sites.

£28 a month is £672 over the contract - Surely you would be better off on PAYG

You don't seem bothered by the phone or mins/texts/data. Any reason you want to go down this route rather than the more traditional contract or phone+SIMonly route? Just want a lump of cash in your pocket? An odd way of getting a 'loan'?

Not really; the contract cost is £672 and you could get only half that back through cashback in this case.
