Classic 419 scam.
BTW 419eaters is named after section 419 of the Nigerian Penal Code (when many scammers are from) which covers fraud. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

Obvious scam is obvious.
On the other hand, have you actually checked your paypal account for the so called pending fees or are you just going off the spoof emails the scammer sent you?
I tried to string along a car buying scammer once as I thought they would pay a load of money into my paypal account and I wanted to see how long it would take to get recalled. This never happened, all they did was send spoof emails made to look like they were from paypal and that was all.0 -
thanks
just done that and his name came up, my bank has been alerted as I very foolishly gave him my account detail tut tut, never done this type of thing before but you live and learn, one thing I would not of given any money over
Why on earth would he need your bank account details if he were paying you by Paypal? All he would need is your email address linked to that account.
He'd only need bank details if paying by bank transfer-which of course would be the only safe way to do such a deal. Seriously, did you not wonder why anyone would offer to buy a van sight unseen? And I'm betting he didn't negotiate the price either. No free lunch, and no free laptop
