But I guess you're right I should've just left it I guess. Me coming off the pills isn't that great a deal.....
As for the consoles etc it's probably me that uses them more as I'm here all day and the consoles are used every day for playing games, watching dvds etc. The music things are used a lot and Ste and I are planning on writing some music now we've got the drums, bass and pc downstairs as we can record straight into the pc and it's something we can do together when the girls are in bed. Plus Ash loves playing on the drums and trying to play the bass... so I see them as being educational for the girls as well.
What can I say about setanta sports.. well Ste's mad about football and instead of going out to pubs etc he gets his mates round for the matches.......
oh I am really sorry if you felt I was being negative, it is a really good thing that you now feel ready to come of the pill's but I was just trying to say that I really hope you weren't getting your hope's up because I for one wouldn't want to see you getting upset and taking a backward step when you have come so far!! And as for all the console's and gadget's I suppose i'm thinking of myself as single mother of 3 who has no time for anything (not even going to the toilet with out an audience .. I love having a pee at work as no-one stands watching). as I said in my previous post I didn't mean to be judgementel as I have 2 boy's begging for the latest stuff... at least they are still at the age where they know my word is final... well sometime's it is!!!!!:oDEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
Hi IA I think JET was being more of a concerned mother (her tone was very like my mum when she was sucking a lemon about something I'd done) than negative and judgemental. Even when sucking a lemon my mum always loved me and I'm sure JET still love you!
Coming off the anti d's is a big deal and regardless of whether your registration goes ahead should be celebrated - you've come a long, long way and don't you forget it!!

<I am putting my cross voice on>
Please stop justifying yourself - you have not done ANY wrong in either contacting OFSTEAD again or buying the PS3/Sultana Sports package.
This is about paying your debt of and being happy not making yourselves suicidal in the process!!
You have proved with your diary and your posts that you really are Number One DFW and look how far you have come in less than a year - you BOTH deserve a pat on the back.
After Steve's post the other day I dont think anyone can comment on how he *whinges* or doesn’t contribute to the budgeting.
Some people thrive on negativity - you don’t and please keep it that way.
Your an inspiration to us all <kiddo >
Hugs

Thank you for helping me to explain........ I suppose I was thinking of myself as quite often when I think thing's are going right for me (like having paid of my debt and this really is the last time I will not ever get in to debt again I hope) something or should I say someone come's and sh*t's on me.
And yes your right I do still love IA and I think she's doing a great job I love her thread/post's and even though I'm ONLY 35 I do feel a little motherly towards her mad I know seeing as I don't really know her!! But there have been time's in her thread's I have wanted to shout at her DO SOMETHING FOR JUST YOU!!!.... but I haven't as I know as a mother we all put our self's second to our children and third to any man in our life's!!! I personally haven't had a hair cut for 2 yrs not just because of the cost but also the time!! my legs only get shaved if I have a rare bath by myself with out someone wanting to get in!!!
IA you really are doing a great job keep it up!!!!!!DEBT FREE 23/FEB/07 TWO YEAR's!! £2 £1020.00 Banked New total £268+ and counting SAVINGS 3000.00- ISA £30. :j0 -
One thing I's point out with Setanta is that there's no contract, so check ahead of which games they'll be showing as if there's a month without whichever team Ste supports on you can cancel it (think you ahve to give 30 days notice though)
I agree that it will be moneysaving in the long term though - £10 a month is probably equal to 1 session in the pub watching the footie, so even buying beer to drink at home 2 matches & you've easily broken even. Plus, by inviting mates round they tend to leave any beer they've not drunk...Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

I've got to agree there - much better to get Setanta that you can cancel if things get tight, than end up stuck in a 12 month contract with Sky.
I daren't even update my diary, that just shows you how crap I have been recently......I need to sit down and get my head around our finances, and may even have a complete change of heart about our plans due to a few things that have happened recently - so I can only admire how in control you are, despite a slight set back.
Oh, and congratulations on coming off the anti-d's, beating depression is hard, and you have done amazingly well."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
