Just checked the bank and tax credits has gone in today?? Weird, as next wednesday isn't a holiday??? Also no child benefit or wages which means the wages are cash and child benefit will be monday. Can't be bad though.. we've got £226 in the bank even before child benefit and my wages! Could do with doing a top up shop though, as we haven't done a proper shop since last weds!
Going to nip into town later pick up my wages and find out what my hours for tomorrow are, and get the shopping in.
Yesterday MIL had the girls while Ste and I went around and mooched around the sales.. I managed to buy 2 tops (not even in the sale) for £20 BUT they were similar designs but different colours and sizes (10 and 12) and I'm taking the one back today which didn't fit (the size 10). I only bought 2 because I liked them both but preferred the one, but I thought a 12 was going to be too big.... but instead the one I preferred less is going back even though it's a smaller size. Cue lots of insecurities about my size which let me to buy 'gabby logans twin results' exercise DVD.... BUT it was a bargain! It was only £3.59 on dvd.co.uk AND I got 12p cashback from quidco..
It's still £17.99 in the shops! Bargain!
I've just had a call from work and they've asked me to go in from 2.30 to 5.30. Talk about timing as I was going in anyway to get my wages! Funny how things work out.. best get my uniform dry!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I wonder if the tax credits thing is because they will pay the whole of the UK on the same day and it is a holiday in Scotland on the 2nd?0

evenin peeps
Work was good. Had a laugh which was nice. In usual time tomorrow but I didn't get my overtime from last week as apparently it's all being paid next week. I took that top back and treated Ste to a game. I went and did a food shop and got the party food in for new years... ended up spending £89!!! Luckily I got £20 in an xmas card today plus my £27.60 wages so it wasn't a massive dent in the bank balance.. unlike the £34.99 game :rotfl:
Nah, Ste deserves it though and I've had a new watch AND top from the sales.
I've decided to do something about my body hang ups. My exercise DVD was despatched today (Think I mentioned it yesterday, if not it's gabby logan's twin results... £3.59 off dvd.co.uk PLUS quidco cashback). I'm sick of my saggy baby belly... K is 11 months old tomorrow and I still look pregnant!! I need to sort myself out and I want to feel good about myself.
So this is my challenge.... Do my dvd once a day (essentially an hour a day..) and every week I'm going to measure my belly and track the inch lossWell.. hopefully anyway... everything is fine in theory! lol will measure myself in a bit and add it to my sig
Hope everyone is well..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
