Great pics Sar hope you've all had a lovely day. Doesn't it go quickly ? I have been nodding off since about 8 o'clock after too much food but think I've got my second wind as I feel more wide awake now. ( Or maybe it's just indigestion lol ! ) XX

Morning all..... well that's it. Christmas done and dusted... always the way isn't it! Takes ages to come around and then when it does it's over in a heartbeat.
Yesterday was lovely. We got up around 8, fed the girls and had a cup of tea before getting stuck in. Ashli LOVED it and was tearing into all her presents.. lol. She was sooo much more interactive than last year and was loving every minute of it. K wasn't fussed really.. and one of the pics is of her crawling off to the tv... as if to say 'Stuff this malarky I'm off to watch beebies..' lol. They got TONNES of toys... you couldn't see the floor at one point..lol Then about 1pm we went down the cemetary to see my mum and take down some flowers and a card that Ashli had done for her. *sigh* It really doesn't get easier does it? Anyway.. we then went round to MIL's for the afternoon for more pressies and dinner. Both the girls were so good even though they were tired. K grizzled and cried but she's only a baby and to be fair she was knackered so she did really well going without a nap. Bless her.
We got home about 6 in time for eastenders.. :eek: How good was it???? :eek: What a nail biter! lol
We then spent the rest of the evening sorting out the masses of toys to make room for the new ones, and someone from freecycle is picking up 2 1/2 bin bags worth from us later. :eek: It's amazing just how many toys they get!
Tonight we're having a party so I've got to nip into town later to get some food and pick up some stuff from Argos. Ste's making me treat myself to a new watch as well... :rolleyes: But to be fair I do need one and this one is especially cool lol.
Anyway.. I'll stop rambling on.. no doubt there'll be more pics later as Ash is taking pics all over the place.. lol. So glad we got her that camera.. she loves it!!

Edit.. forgot to say that Ste got me a white god and diamond heart necklace

I also got.... 2 bottles of baileys, a 'bass clef' mug, Babyliss Beliss hair dryer/straightener (which is BRILLIANT :T).... all sorts!

Awww, it sounds perfect. It's lovely that you made your Mum part of the day, so that you are continuing to celebrate her life. It was my Mum's first Xmas without her Mum and I wasn't sure what to say, so I didn't say anything....wish I had done really.....we are going to their house on Friday so maybe I will take her some flowers, just so she knows we haven't forgotten, and we were thinking about Grandma even though we didn't say so.

Hope you have a good party, I think we are meeting SIL and BIL later for a couple of drinks but apart from that we will just be trying to put the house back together and trying to resist going sales-shopping.
