It sounds as though his mate is taking good care of things. He's probably feeling pretty crappy BUT he did manage to phone you, so is not in so much pain that he's lost consciousness, and he would feel even worse if he knew how upset you were, so for his sake (and yours), take a deep breath and tell yourself 'I have coped with worse than this, and I will cope with this too'.
I've got to go out now, but will be thinking of you and Ste, and hoping you are both okay.xxx"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I know. I would feel like that to. But there is nothing you would be able to do if you were with him and if he is anything like my OH he would get feb up of you fussing.
Anyway you need to keep us updated!! I'm sure he will be ok, Mum broke her elbow about 7 years ago and she can still use it fine. She just couldn't lift things very well for a bit.
How about making his favourite meal for when he gets home? It might take your mind off things a little.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Did you know IA, that in an absolute emergency (which this is) the children can go in a car without seats without you being prosecuted. Just sit in the back with little 'un on your lap (belted up) and K in the other belt. At least you could get a lift to your car then. Hope all is OK X0

I would if I knew when he was going to be home.. you know what casualities are like!
No she's not a drummer (would like to see that though) But I would have thought so long as he does any physio they ask him to he would be ok.
Could you heat it up? I treated mine to a takeaway... although watching him try to eat it one handed was very funny... Oh and then there was the left handed man trying to eat spagetti right handed :rotfl:Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
