Hehehe, nice one on the lie-in IA!Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.0

Actually I don't think it is unreasonable for us to expect you to get out of your bed, start the Daily Chat Thread, and then return to your Pit.
You shouldn't rely on poor Mrs Spendalot to do all your chores. You'll be wanting her to do your clicks next.
Anyway, can't you take the laptop to bed?
What about the girls? Couldn't they log in for you? - well maybe soon.11.50, Im not jealous at all.

Poor egg card.. it's been totally battered.. today we had to buy some more drumsticks as Ste snapped his... they were only 2 weeks old and cost £8 and they snapped like matchsticks! So we've invested in some 'ahead' drumsticks which are aluminium with a poly-somethingorother-ane sheath so they won't snap and will pay for themselves in no time. So in the space of a weekend egg has gone from £254.32 to £464.74  and that's not even including £150 of the guitar cost because we had that in cash from my 'dad'. He came round yesterday and gave us £150 which we paid off Ste's guitar. the balance went on egg... not sure where we've gone wrong but we seem to fallen off the wagon rather massively....
BUT..... the come back in under way already. Yes, we fell off the wagon.. but Ste's got a new guitar for xmas which is going to be really handy for churning out songs ideas for the band.. I have a new 5 string bass for xmas which means I can only improve and can play deeper notes without risking warping the neck of my other one.
The credit cards currently stand at £587.74..
This time next week we'll have paid off all but £74... this is how...
egg - £464.74 ~ Ste vanquis - £153 = £587.74
Dialaphone cashback £120 due any day
Quidco due end of month - currently on £183.60 to be paid out
Topcashback - £50 on way
My wages tomorrow - £38.64
Child benefit tuesday - £120.80
= £513.04 leaving £74.70 to be paid off egg after xmas.
Hands up... we went a bit mad on the egg card... but we're sorting it out plus extra by the end of next week.
that leaves our xmas spending looking like this....
5th tc - £25.57 (£10 extra as from the week after next we're having 'band practice' at our house instead of paying for studio time to knock out ideas. We're auditioning a singer this week though....)
7th my wages - £38.64 as doing extra hours this week.
12th tc - £25.57
14th my wages - min £27.60
19th tc - £25.57
20th Ste wages - £149.02
21st my wages - min £27.60
= £319.57 for everyone we still need to buy for.
Ste and I have had our pressies so nothing to budget for there, MIL is sorted with a case of wine, BIL is sorted... so this budget will be more than enough even for the girls.Plus I should get more hours/more money on the run up to xmas..
the £74 remaining on egg will be paid off using the child benefit which although due on the 1st jan, should be paid on the 28th december and the leftover will be used for the new years party
Phew... feel lots better now everything is sorted and back under control. I think I may have relaxed too much when I realised that Ste and I only have 1 credit card each now.. but despite the minor blip.. it'll all be taken care of.

I get the impression that you like Christmas?
So do we
And we'd gone from having no-one C'day, to having 2 out of the 3 "children" so we'll have stockings Wheeee:j :j
And we've invited around 70 peeps to come over on the Sunday before Christmas - a sort of party, as far as middle aged peeps can party.
I have LOADS of Christmassy CD's that are so cheesy that i'm not usually allowed to play themSlade anyone?

Looking good there Sar, we all fall off the wagon, me more than most but at least you've got it under control.
I've just listed a bunch more ebay stuff... I have a nasty feeling they will boot me out again though, I've just had to add my debit card number and I think that'll give me away as me. I've re-registered as a business rather than a personal seller under my business name. I'm really really hoping they don't chuck me out because if everything I've listed sells I'll have over £600 in my pocket, then I've got all of the spare sound stuff to get shot of which is about £12,000 worth which I so want in the bank and not gathering dust in the garage. I've got the accountant and the corporation tax due.
OMG how was that for a hijack? can you tell I've got this on my mind today:A

Lol I wish I could, I might have the high value stuff but the business has some eye watering high value bills too. I won't see a penny of that:A
