    Just wondering if you every 'stray' to named brand stuff that you would usually buy cheaper, I mean I've just got back from getting some lunch stuff (my brother is coming round today) and although I usually buy value crisps or cheap own brand, today I got some named brand ones cos they were on special although still a bit dearer than what I normally get. I always think I am getting a good deal but it is still more expensive, I can never make up my mind when I'm faced with these choices out shopping:rotfl:

    Why don't you buy the cheap stuff as well, and do a blind taste-test? The you'll be able to tell the difference (or not), and will be able to determine how good the difference is.

    It is, because it's only once and it may stop you buying the good stuff in future.

    I did a blind taste-test with weetabix and Lidl's copy. Even with both in the bowl - I couldn't tell the difference...
