Why? You're only trying to do your best for him and the girls aren't you? I know he might not see the same logic as you but there's nothing for him to be mad about (ste's a big !!!!!cat anyway).
If it helps any, if I were in your position I would do exactly the same. I can never bring myself to buy anything this time of year if it could wait until the sales. I know it seems a long way off but it really isn't and come January he will be so happy you waited.:A

I dunno.. I think he'd be more annoyed that I posted it up on here.. almost like everything involving money is 'reported' on here..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Sar, I think Ste will see that whether or not he really likes your methods, him and the kids are at the heart of everything you do with regard to money, you do it all because you want a better way of living for your lovely family. He might grimace or grumble a bit about your life being an open book sometimes, but you possibly wouldn't be where you are now - about 3 months from being debt free - without posting on here to keep you focussed.
Oh, and he's probably secretly quite proud of how well known, well liked and inspirational you are on here!
Ste, give your lovely wife a cuddle and make her feel better....lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi
Ref Quidco. On quite nights at work i have some time to browse this forum. It seems people are having a few problems with Quidco payments at the moment. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=6433259#post6433259
Hope it is not a trend as i have £116.00 to come from them next month.

I told him... and he said 'really? When? Where? We could take the other one back and save up £100 in NO TIME)

Doh! Ah well, at least he's thinking 'save' not 'buy on a credit card'!
Well done Ste....sort of :T"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
With reference to quidco - if it says October payment then it will be paid from their accounts on the last day of October....normally hits my account 3 days later.
If that's not the problem you had then feel free to ignore this post"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
