Mine has just arrived and when I read through all thee bumph it says about the cashback that you have to send in you bills at different months (pretty normal) but that they reserve the right to withe pay the cash into your bank account or credit you with airtime    That wasn't the deal !!!! I don't want more airtime, I probably won't use all that I've got !!!!
Part of the reason I took the deal was that the caskback would be used to pay towards the monthly bills, making it a decent monthly price ... oh what to do .... do I send it back?? Anyone else used them before and had cashback deals??
Is the cashback through dial phone? if so i am away to claim my first cashback on the 15th September so i can let u know!! hopefully is cash!!

Hi IA
I seeded our 70ft garden about 6 years ago, simply dug it all over levelled it with a rake and scattered (lots) grass seeds, grass sprouts within a couple of weeks and thickens over time. I started in Jan/Feb digging and raking, started seeding in March and the lawn was reasonable by the summer and well established by the following year. Don't know what it cost but considerably less than your quote - lol!!
Worth a thought?

That's some quote for the garden.. ours was almost twice that for pretty much the same, but we had a huge air raid shelter 18 inches from the kitchen window to dismantle as well.. plus the only access to our garden is a 30 in wide passage. We had great fun, we dug out everything and burned it all.. my brother spent 6 weekends out there burning 2 large conifers, a huge elder tree and a massive ivy which was at least 90 years old.. it was topsoiled and grassed and a large area paved.. thankfully we got trade discount on a lot of it and we ordered the topsoil and turf and hubby did it... and as for all this 'don't walk on it'.. it's pants.. it thrives on it.. it beds it in way better..
In the last house we had we seeded the soil in November and had mostly lawn come March when we reseeded and all was grand.. children couldn't play on that though until the July (summer holidays)
off topic.. Any idea how long it takes for mecca withdrawals to hit the bank account?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Get some Wilko's 'Weed and Feed' on it IA, you will have a half-decent bit of grass (I wont exaggerate and call it a perfectly manicured lawn, but it will do) by next summer. We have created flower/plant beds by putting some of that bamboo edging around any bits that looked 'soily' (you can tell we are keen gardeners
), killing off any grass and weeds with some weed killer, leaving for a couple of months and then sticking in a few plants.
And the bits that were hopeless causes (some rough looking concrete round the back of the house) we have again edged with bamboo and covered in pea gravel, and it has now become an eating area (or a 'quick vodka and tonic once the kids are in bed' area) with a bench and a cheap BBQ. I bet we haven't spent more than £200, but we have done it so gradually we haven't even noticed it costing us anything."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Garden quote is mind bogglingly ridiculous! You and Ste can definitely do it yourselves. OH and me did mine last year- we had to literally demolish the old kitchen (solid stone- late 1800's!) dig out the entire garden and then rebuild it incorporating a new path, decking and water feature. It was worth it though and by doing it ourselves we saved a fortune, appreciate it much more and had a brilliant summer. Can't recommend it enough! Ooooh- you could start a garden project thread too!
Off topic sorry- but I know the regulars here are Quidco-ers. i've been doing my clicks which all track no problem. On Tuesday I changed two of my insurances for a grand total of £130 cashback- woo woo! But as yet it's not appearing anywhere- does anyone know how long it'll be before it shows up?Don't suffer alone - if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse contact the National Domestic Abuse Helplines
