Has Steve got his new phone yet? Mine has just arrived and when I read through all thee bumph it says about the cashback that you have to send in you bills at different months (pretty normal) but that they reserve the right to withe pay the cash into your bank account or credit you with airtime    That wasn't the deal !!!! I don't want more airtime, I probably won't use all that I've got !!!!
Part of the reason I took the deal was that the caskback would be used to pay towards the monthly bills, making it a decent monthly price ... oh what to do .... do I send it back?? Anyone else used them before and had cashback deals??Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Ho hum: So coming up to a year in a few months and I'm guessing the total repaid this year will have been 5k ish (?) and you pay about 3.5k in rent....
So if the debt wasn't there and you saved the repayments even *without* or any pay rises/you working full time; you'd have £40k in savings by the time you hit 30....
Or another viewpoint your debt+rent is coming in at the equivalent of paying a £120k mortgage...
I really don't think it's a good time to buy a house at all, just thought I'd point out when debt free you *could* and will have the choice...
Or in 5 years  http://www.intaporsh.co.uk/used_car_97.asp0 -
Well I was a bit naughty last night. Did the food shop and everything came to £40.79 :T But then I put £10 on my phone and bought MIL one of those £10 freeview boxes because she's been after one for ages.
Oh well. She's done loads for us so it was nice to be able to do something for her thanks to martin :money:
Felt a bit naughty putting £10 on my phone but considering it's only the 2nd time I've done it since I bought the phone I shouldn't complain! lolTotal 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

it depends on your provider. some wont accept it as airtime and therefore you will be sent a cheque. either way, its money back.
and....
trying to find out (which provider does what) ... but there is no mention in the t&c's about the cashback offer... hmmmm could they be breaking a trading law here?Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

It's not quite so fluffy....
Rent includes repairs/boiler breakdowns etc and if you have a HA landlord you have security regardless of the debt.... mortgages are just big f*&k off debts secured against your home
I was just trying to point out the level of repayments you're meeting and the little savings here and there could mount up to buying some really big stuff in not many years....0 -
And...
3, T-Mobile, O2, and BT customers - once we have received your claim, the cheque will be with you within 7/10 working days. Vodafone and Orange customers - because we have to credit your money through the network onto your bill, the payment may not catch your next bill. If it doesn't, it should be on the following bill.
its in the HELP section
who's she gone with? and she does have the right to cancel and send it back (distance selling rights etc). fingers crossed shes not with voda or orange...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

We've also had a brand new kitchen (minus applicances) which I dread to think what it would've cost if we'd had to pay for it!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Yep I'm with O2 so should be fine !! Think I just panicked a bit ... even if it was credited does that just mean I don't need to pay the £30 that month, they just credit the account?? I thought it might mean they gave me an extra £30 of minutes/texts?? I had a quick look too on dialaphones website and yeah, it does look like it will be fine .... thank you xx:DMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
