If I want to pop into a shop on my way home I find myself thinking but then it won't be a NSD and I can wait until I get home and I've been so much better at taking lunch to work this month. I've only bought it once on the way when I hadn't been shopping previously. Yesterday was another NSD so that's NSD #14
We aim to please! :j:j:jworriedpenguin wrote: »NSD 14/14 for today. I'm back from holiday and hoping to see out the remainder of the month on soup, bread, coffee and wine. It's not a bad life.
Not a bad life at all.Igor was mixing them so you really have to ask? :rotfl:
It seems I missed most of the prom last night, one minute I was busy putting the finishing touches to my sparkly costume for my mid-prom performance, the next thing I hear these hooves like something out of the second coming, I'm blindfolded with something that smelled awfully like Igor's long johns, I pass out then come to locked in my sanitorium AND someone has nicked my sparkly outfit  I needed a couple of Valium to get over the shock and next thing I know it's morning.
Forgot my missed NSD yesterday was due to some chocs I bought for Xmas gifts too. Bit peeved though, our local store had them on offer saying half price. Bargain I though. THEN I found some that look suspiciously the same on a wholesaler website last night advertising the SRP and this supposed offer price. it's still a good price but I feel a bit like I was conned into buying the chocs thinking they were on an offer.
Shocking on both accounts. :eek:0 -

Oi, Igor! You been boiling your underpants again? That means we are indeed doomed. The school must close, Head Teacher, what will we do with the remainder of the school fees? Oh, you've already used the cash to.pay for our tickets to Munich? Yippee! Just a couple of days left to consolidate our NSD collection then it's Oktoberfest here we come!
Yes I think that a little jaunt over the water is just what the doctor ordered.
I'm afraid that I won't be joining you all.I've decided that a short stay in a sanitorium is what is needed to give me a new lease of life.If you don't believe me,have a look at these:
Before school term-me,looking as fresh as a daisy!
Today:-me,looking as fresh as one of Igor's savoury pilchard and ferret eclairs. He's a big fan of TGBBO.
This is what I wanted to post this morning, but the computer was sulking.
It's not the only thing or being sulking.Igor wants to know, somewhat petulantly IMHO,why I'm allowed a make-over,and not him.I've gently tried to explain that my make-over has backfired, and that I don't actually look any better, but he's having none of it.0 -
