...and when I [STRIKE]interrogated[/STRIKE] questioned Igor as to why he was doing this, he said it was easier than rolling them up, shoving them in his mouth and setting fire to them........he and Hubert will report to your study for punishment once they have each finished writing out one thousand times "I must not smoke rancid herrings in a frying pan over a fire behind the school bikesheds as it breaks every Environmental and Health and Safety Law in the land and will cause food poisoning as well as stinking out the entire school"

It may be some time before you see them......

....Igor nooo!!! Oh dear, he couldn't find any fairies for the fairy cakes and has used what he considered to be the closest thing....flies....Yes Igor they do look like sultanas when baked in....

    shudder!

Yes marmite, wedding countdown and therefore time off work countdown but I also love Christmas and can't wait to buy some new dec's for our house (first owned house for me and OH!) but it seems too early yet for purchasing. I will also be in a much better financial position come Christmas (hopefully) so I am impatiently waiting for each payday to come and go!!

It's not the first time that he's used flies as a substitute. When we ran out of currants for the Christmas puddings last year....:eek:

I can see why you're impatient for December. You mean to say that Christmas stuff is in the shops already?
i did see some festive tins the other day in a shop.
  • A swot eh? Long time since I have been called that!

And as a result, one more to claim making it NSD 14

Only train fare bought today out of travel budget. Budgeting works a treat for me these days.

    No offence meant.Honest! ;)

I love budgeting too.It really simplifies things as well,I find.
Just to let you know, Head Teacher marmite, that Igor and Hubert are both in detention for smoking behind the bike sheds. I could smell this peculiar rank odour and followed the Narglehooter until I found the pair of them, frying pan in hand, with a pile of rancid herrings.

Just think of the horror of it, they were actually going to serve those kippers for tomorrow's breakfast..........

It's Hubert I feel sorry for...Igor definitely is a bad influence on him.
Hubert can't really write. He can hold a pen by his tail though,so is set to do one thousand crosses.

Christmas stuff is in John Lewis, that's all I need! (I am happily ignoring the fact that I have enough lovely decorations to make the house look lovely and this is a site for saving money and shifting debt - I can forego new clothes, furniture and food...I cannot forego new christmas decorations!!)
