    Car Insurance Carver!
We had very little interest in ours initially and live in a more rural area, took over 6months for it to sell and it fell through twice in that time!

I reckon it was on two weeks before the first viewing and then we had lots of cancellations as we live on a narrow road and people were put off! It was very disheartening!!

    Good luck!

been in contact with estate agents on a regular basis and same old thing.. i suppose they can't do anything more.
  • We have our first viewing tomorrow, I am moving to the opinion that the longer it is on the market then we will have more deposit etc, it will go when the right buyer comes along as it is priced correctly (the house attached to ours is up too for £10k more!!)

Holiday Haggler I've been Money Tipped!
I found Estate Agents very slow to act. It took a week for the property to get on RightMove!

This has been on Rightmove for a week now and one viewing - still I guess it takes just one buyer.

I would be worried if that was me, but then houses are selling quickly around my area, we are in Glasgow.

What is the housemarket like in your area? Have you checked out sold prices on rightmove for your postcode+1/4mile to see what has sold recently?
  • Found one with the same layout which is built by the same builder that sold near me for £18,000 less than ours is listed for. However, this one has no garage, a single drive (ours has planning for double), no conservatory and half the size garden. It is also into the estate whereas ours in on the entrance to it.
