We have just put our house on the market, after lots of deliberation of who to go with. In your personal experiences and I know it's how long is a piece of string, but how long after going live did it take for YOU to get a viewing after the new on the market buzz.

Only 5 days. Had 6 viewings. One offer which we've accepted. We live in London & houses in our area going very fast. Good luck with yours.0

Thank you for your input, good luck with your sale, - we live in a village with a lot on the market, naively I thought we might have had some calls today...0

I had 3 view before it went on rightmove, one came back twice and really liked it but had not sold theirs (not even on the market). Once it went online I had another 3 views but have not had anymore appointments for about 5 days. It's probably because its holiday season.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0

Was this in the first day?0 -
4 months on the market until first offer
had a viewing in the first week, then none for 3 months
dropped selling price twice
total viewings about 10
eventually ended up with 3 agents, and then the original agent sold the house
we are now a week away from exchange
Good luck0 -
it is really dependent on where you are in the UK.
Bristol was mad last summer when we sold... >12 viewings on 1st day.
Also things go dead in august (apparently)0 -
first viewing after one week. steady viewings 1-2 per week. sold house in less than 5 months. mind you was 3 years ago. but price was keen and I was confident it would move.(eg. not over valued)
Knocked first offer back and went to closing date to speed things up. first offer was 5k lower than I wanted. final price was 7k more than I wanted lol ....I love selling lol0 -
what area are you in i.e. postcode. If there is a lot for sale around you, it will take much longer, as you have more competition, unless you are on at a good price. As said above London properties fly out, other areas will take longer0

I think it'll pick up once school holidays are over. So many people away at the moment.MadelinesMum wrote: »I had 3 view before it went on rightmove, one came back twice and really liked it but had not sold theirs (not even on the market). EA phoned the first day and the viewings were the next afternoon. I find my EA does most viewings on a Saturday. I suppose many people work so the weekends are best for them.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
