    Rainy seasons doesnt mean cold. The tropics have fairly consistent temperatures all year round and just humidity/ rain/ wind varies by season - they only have two - dry and wet.

    St Lucia is amazing - we went for our 10th wedding anniversary (also August) it is the rainy season but this only meant a heavy shower just after it got light & just after dark, I think we had one other shower during the 14 days we were there

    I have just come back from the Maldives with work yesterday the weather was brilliant yeah we had a few showers but nothinig major take a look at my sunbed shot below in my beach pool villa :)
