Vodaphone
My boss has said this morning that he's upgrading the mobiles that he has us use each month. At the moment, we're all on Orange and have no problems, however he wants to change to Vodaphone, for whatever reason.
There's 4 of us altogether with mobiles, and we each use at least 1000 mins per month.
Can someone tell me please if the reception on Vodaphone is generally thought to be as good as Orange and has anyone found any good deals with Vodaphone lately?? I've only ever had one phone in the past, that was with Vodaphone, and at that time, the reception on it wasn't as good as Orange, but that was a long time ago.
Just thought there may be someone on here who might work for Vodaphone or who has some good advice.
Thanks
Sal

From my experience, O2 and Voda have much better reception compared to TMobile and Orange. Despite Oranges claim that it covers most of the UK anyone who visits my house in NW London never get any reception. I've been with O2 for a few years and haven't had any problem at all.0

vodafone reception outbeats my orange signal most places in the UK
while the boss takes out new Voda contracts, he should take the consumer plans, Stop the clock, family are not avail on business, 4.00 for calls between staff & 60mins off peak for the price of 3 to any UK network & 01/02 numbersSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

All the networks should offer around the same quality of coverage in % of the population and % of the landmass covered. It's just where the bad areas are that varies! My village is a bit poor for Vodafone and shocking for Orange (esp the pub, which eats the signal as soon as you walk through the door), but you always have 3/4 to full strength signal on T-Mob and O2. My work is the opposite way round though. I remember reading somewhere that two of networks operate on one GSM frequency and the other two work on another, and that one of the frequencies is better at penetrating buildings. Each network has on their website a feature where you can input a postcode and it gives you approx signal strength. Good luck!!If this has been of any use please click on THANKS, it makes me look good.0
