lap top wont connect to internet

we have 4 lap tops in house all will connect to virgin hub except for one a hp pavillion when i check out network centre it says inncorrect secuurity code i reset code but still wont connect any body have any ideas.

    Couple of questions...

    Has it ever connected successfully to this hub before? Is it relatively old?

    Some older wireless cards don't like newer security policies such as WPA2, you may need to update the wireless drivers on the laptop*.

    * Note that some really old cards won't support WPA2 and some may not even support WPA.

    it has connected for about six months no probs but recently it would connect sometimes but now it wont connect at all

    Ninth Anniversary 100 Posts Combo Breaker
    Remove the wireless network profile for the laptop in control panel and network and sharing centre then manage wireless networks .

    Remove the profile then reconnect. Restart the hub too.

    T100:19:db:XX:XX:XX192.168.0.1226-Aug-2014 08:08 iMac34:15:9e:XX:XX:XX192.168.0.16ReservedIn ADVANCED DHCP DHCP Reservation you can set a fixed IP address for the devices.

    At the top of that screen is a list of connected devices to help you ID things.

    My own experience is to add a little USB dongle to an old Dell that does not have a wireless card, circa £15.00.

    So please ask for more help as you progress.

    Can you eliminate this, try running a network cable from the router in to the laptop.
    Does it pickup anything?
