Thanks gettingready for your input. It seems that the monthly payments are in line with others. When you do a comparison things come out much cheaper, and it's difficult to compare like for like as there are different T's and C's to compare. I'm not in London, I'm in Scotland.
it's good to know what we're paying is comparative however.0 -
My daughter lives in Lake District so not far. Her 2 girls are 4 yo and I pay £25.00 for their insurance as I said earlier. So about 12.50 each. If yours is a buy - that will make a bit of a difference.
Last year I was paying £20.00 for the 2 of them. Will see what happens on next reneval.
EDIT - I can now see yours is a girl too. But she is 2 years older so perhaps that is the difference.0 -

Mine are insured with petplan and for the 12 yr old it's now £27 a month with a £95 excess and we have to pay 20% of the bill as well. However this was in place before we made the first claim for her last year, which petplan paid out over £800.
Expensive, yes, but lifelong treatment and I've never had any hassle claiming (other cat had several blocked bladders before he passed away).
Swopping to cheaper companies would worry me especially as some insurance companies seem to be pulling out of the market. Petplan have been around a while. (And no I don't work for them)0 -
