you should start your own NEW THREAD and put the info above into that new thread, for bespoke answers tailored to you and your predicament only (not resurrecting somebody elses thread)

Hello Forum can anyone help?
I parked in a Parkingeye monitored car park from 6.50am on 26/12 for over 2 hours, I was unaware the parking cameras were operating over the bank holiday weekend.
I received a letter of £60 fine and I appealed explaining I didn't realise the system worked on a bank holiday weekend plus the signs do not indicate what time the 2 hours start because I left the car park approx. at 8.45am before the so called peak time. It was dark in the morning when I parked. The signs don't say they operate 24/7 or from 8am -8pm. it just says 2 hours.
I have already appealed explaining that I didn't realise the system was operating on a bank holiday weekend and the signs do not indicate timing of parking. Now they are requesting receipts of purchase but I went to shops cross the road, not to the ones in the small retail area plus they are not open that early.
What should I do?
Please help.......
Take the advice in the post above. Pitching-up on old/outdated threads will not get you the help you need.

Hi not sure how to create a new thread not used this website befor? Thanks for trying to help me.
See my signature (the red/black bold bit immediately below my reply) for how to hop back to page one. There you see a NEW THREAD button.
However, please please please don't do that until you have first of all read and digested the advice already here for you in 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' near ther top of the forum. You get to see that when you click one click on forum jump, as my signature explains. Please please don't just copy the words you wrote above shouting 'help' and making it clear you've not read anything useful yet (not your fault we know, but I've told you where to read now). Help is already here in that thread.
If you start a thread shouting 'help' you will be told...to read the NEWBIES thread first.
Always read the 'sticky thread' notices on any forum first. They are the permanent help info threads.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -

Hi I appealed against my parking charge and it has been unsuccessful, basically I parked in 2 hours free park before 9am (went to sales on boxing day) but I went over the 2 hours because it was bank holiday I made the assumption it wouldn't charge anything.
Have I got any grounds of appealing to POPLA? I would greatly appreciate your help.
Thank you

please start a new thread of your own by using the NEW THREAD button (red for newbies) on the top or bottom left of this parking forum you posted in
please dont resurrect old threads or topics that can and do contain out of date information
people will answer you when you have a thread of your own, but will initially point you to read the NEWBIES sticky thread near the top of this forum0 -
