    This made me :D

When I got Poppy I decided I would buy a baby gate so I could keep her in the kitchen when out but leave the kitchen door open so she wouldn't be claustrophobic ;).

I bought one from Argos took me around 30 mins to put it up.

Left her in kitchen behind gate and went upstairs to the bathroom guess who beat me to the bathroom :o :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Poppy jumped over the gate :( so I had to take it back :)

Thanks girls that's the results you get when you trawl the posh area Charity shops:T:T

Off now to get ready to go out I always like to make an effort and who knows it might yield an extra drop of Brandy;)

Am feeling chuffed with myself as just gone on line to check out the "Joules" jacket I got in the Charity shop the other day for £18-99 when I was out with my friend and it is current Joules stock and retails at £149:T:T:T.my friend will be shocked as she thought i had paid over the odds for it :(but when it comes to makes there are no flies on Nannylala my DD taught me well :)

    Very impressed.

I went into one of their shops in York a while ago - the price of their wellies was
I also went into French connection as eldest child has a £40 gift card to use up - this was instead of a refund. We could not find anything on the sale rail for £40

I really have no idea of what things cost in the real world, Ive bargain hunted forever.

We could really do with a list to keep in our bags of good labels as a check list to look out for in charity shops - or indeed in TKMax - people find fabulous things in there but I don't know the names of the high value cool brands ...

I nearly said earlier we have never had the offer of things being dropped to us.

Usually peeps have been happy to offload what they want rid of without any hassle to them.

We have offered things too and people have always collected. I did take a bottle of wine when we picked up the chest freezer.

I thought it was a bit odd, in his first email he offered to drop them off for me. I just assumed he was in the area.

QoC have you heard anything from Scamps yet? I am sure you would have said if you had. It's so unlike him to be AWOL for so long. :(

    No, still nothing :(

Lol, reminds me of ds2 this morning watching youtube. I heard him say "LINGERIE!!! Why does he not get his mum to do lingerie??" I asked him what the boy was doing with lingerie - was a bit worried. He looked confused and answered "Laundry mum, not lingerie....what is Lingerie?" :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a habit of gathering this, that and the other for putting in various places when tidying...then popping it all in the bin

Whenever anything goes missing in the house we have to root through the bins to make sure I have not been up to my tricks again :rotfl:

Definitely old age creeping up TS ;)

we had youngest son home for a few days a while back and for some reason he wanted to do the upturning of the compost bins - you are supposed to do this at least once a year to mix everything up. He likes a job where he can get stuck in and mucky but I think it was boredom as much as anything that was the motivation. :D

so one bin was upended and we started to sift through the stuff that needed sifting and the stuff that needed further rotting down.

In the midst of this we found a set of back door keys

If it had not been a dry day, if youngest son had not been home and willing to be a bit of gardening those keys would never have been found, didn't even know they were lost :rotfl:

a long while after OH admitted it was him, he had hidden the keys before we went away in April and then completely forgotten about them :rotfl:
