Nice day for a funeralWhat does one wear, when dress code is 'no black' ?
Do you wear colourful clothes?
or a plain item like grey or navy?
Plain or patterned?
help needed please ♥
Good morning snap when my Father died mum did not want usto wear black so we all had navy on,but when my young nephew died it was a request that we all had bright colours on so we adhered to this.Personally I feel black is respectful at a Funeral and want that at mine:eek: but I suppose its all about personal choice.0 -
Good morning
Hope everyone is well:)
I'm so tired this morning, really did not want to get up:( little man hasn't slept properly for 2 weeks now:( every night has been the same, he gets in bed without fuss, has a story, falls asleep within minutes. Then between 10-11 pm he wakes up crying, but he's virtually asleep, then he cries on and off until around 3am when he falls properly asleep...
I've limited what he's watching on tv as last week he said the wolves were chasing him...:eek:they are From DD Frozen DVD... I've tried ignoring him but the crying turns into screaming, he's really not that awake to say what it wrong. He just about manages to answer yes or no.
But I seriously need sleep.
I've a glade s+s / candle shop arriving shortly so will post results when its been "delivered". Then it's school uniform shopping at mr t on the agenda...
Have a lovely day0 -

Fresh fruit from the garden is always the best :j
We didn't buy strawbs for over a month as we ended up with so many (I made a ton of jam).
At one point I think I was getting 1lb of strawbs from the garden a day.
Hoping to do that next year, have a patch down the bottom of the garden that I normally plant up with something different each year but I have so many runners off the strawberries this year that I have decided to plant up that part of the garden with them, Can't plant them this year as currently tomatoes and runners there so will overwinter the strawberries in my plastic greenhouse then plant them in the springLooking forward to getting a few more strawberries next year, though not sure what I would choose if I had to choose between strawberries and raspberries, and the size of some of our raspberries this year is scary

I used to re pot and move the runners but was fighting a losing battle last year, I think I'm gonna just have to leave them to it now.
It amazing that we started off with 5 or 7 plants (can't remember exactly how many) a few years back and if we include the runners we give away we've had over 200 now and they're still going, even the original plants we first got :j
Flaming weeds!! :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
