Morning all. Grey and a bit miserable looking here. Brussels was like that yesterday, so looks like I may have brought it home with me.

Emma, your portrait is fabulous. What an amazing gift.

tweets, had to smile at one of the pictures you posted yesterday - this was Jasmine on Thursday night when I was trying to pack for my weekend away.

Nice day for a funeral :) What does one wear, when dress code is 'no black' ?

    Do you wear colourful clothes?

or a plain item like grey or navy?

    Plain or patterned?

    help needed please ♥
Did the person who died have a favourite colour that you know of ? otherwise plain navy/grey sounds fine

Evening all. Many thanks for all of my birthday wishes yesterday.

I have been suffering with possibly the worst hangover of all time today. Physically ill and everything. Didn't even feel anything approaching normal until this evening :o

I had a lovely evening out. Cocktails and dim sum with my favourite people. One of my very best friends in the whole world came into town with balloons, donuts and presents. Including a gift that made me cry actual large tears.

She commissioned a graphic artist friend of hers to draw a portrait of me. I love it so so much.

This reminds me of sue Perkins a bit :)

Our cats insist in getting into cases as well

Mind you they should hide in terror as cases usually mean cat boxes as well :)

    Good morning everybody! :j

Somebody mentioned a while back they had a cheap phone contract ( £1 per month)!. Was it Vectone or Talkmobile? And what's the cheapest anyone's found, bearing in mind I've got a phone I'm happy with now.

That was me, it is Talkmobile. Very happy with the coverage too, they use Vodafone as the carrier.

Unfortunately the £1 a month is not available anymore, but they do several low cost sim only tariffs

If you prefer free (and M are not running their offer when you need them!) there are loads of Blackberries ripe and out now in hedgerows etc if you are happy to forage :).

We had elderly neighbours a few years ago who had a jungle of a garden, in it grew the biggest, juiciest blackberries that I have ever seen:).... One little shoot grew in my garden and I moved it... We now have the delicious blackberries growing over our shed:money:they don't take up much room and don't look messy, I also had another shoot that I have trained this year to grow around my conifer, so even small gardens can grow an assortment of fruits as well as flowers:):money:
