Savvy, the 10% weight/volume doesn't mean a jot on branded items

Yes, I've fallen into that trap again, sorry about that! (So much to remember... even though the 'rule' is the same across all the three supermarket schemes:rotfl:.) I'm glad there are people here ready and waiting to pounce if I say something wrong:T. You lot all know more than me:o:o:rotfl::rotfl:.

Yes, the adjustments are own-brands - please pull me up if you spot me adjusting prices of branded items on the lists. So, this will not compare to £5 (or cheaper on volume). It's a "buy in M"!

Ive got so much breakage on my parting Ive created a fringe :o Im sure big hair suits you but it's not for me after years of having no choice. Straight and sleek all the way :D
I still remember picking my jaw up off the floor when I bought my first ceramic straighteners :D:D It was truly amazing after spending my whole life with crinkly hair :rotfl::rotfl:

Have you tried a brazilian blow dry? Bit like a perm but straightens instead of curls? Even if not perfect would make useing straighteners alot quicker.
I am not a great lover of using straighteners, when my hair gets longer I prefect the scrunchy look.

Agree about bake of. iian in my view was shown using great restraint. Will pop over to fb later and have a nosey.

And...we have a first "buy in Iceland", or first from me in any event...

Calypso Clear Cup Drinks (12x285ml) 2 for £1.50. Beats attempting to T price match to M in 2s (2 for £2:eek: at M).:eek:I had that on my list ages ago as being vs M in 2s!_pale_:rotfl::o:rotfl:

Yes, stocks are low at As, if not non-existent in some stores, so buy in Ts to get at As prices. Welcome BTW

And CC points on spend on T's original price (rounded down to nearest £1) plus on respend of the PP amount when spent (as long as £1 or over of course, and again round down to nearest £1 qualifier). So, very slightly cheaper than A if you take CC points value into account (perhaps that should be wiped out though if the points are treated as being an interest-free loan from you to Mr T for up to the 3 months or so whilst waiting for the next CC statement that could otherwise have been invested in the bank (or in stocks and shares) and gain interest if T had given a monetary discount off A's price instead of CC points that it makes you wait until you can collect enough/redeem etc., if I am to be pedantic about it) and assuming that Mr T continues to compare to A's price on the T PP.

Actually, you buy in T at T's prices and are then committed to spending the PP refund in T (as long as nowhere else accepts PP vouchers). But, in a way, that is a discount if you were already going to be shopping in T next time anyway.

Not been watching GBBO but got to watch now...got to wait up for our little kitty anyway :( He is only 7 months old and never goes outside for more than 20 minutes normally but he wandered out at 10pm and is not home yet. DD1 has gone to bed in tears because little Oreo is not home yet. I've promised to stay up all night if need be to wait for him to come home, going to wait til 1.30ish then will have to call it a nignt and hope he is home in the morning. OH did a sweep of the estate shaking the dreamies before he went to bed half an hour ago, that normally gets him running home wherever he is. OH up for work at 5.30am so has had to go and get some kip.

Hope the little terror isn't injured somewhere :'(

I was just thinking about you earlier. Hope you are OK my love :A

    Thank you for caring.:A

Off to Bedford tomorrow. Phones sue ryder peps scheme today and occupational health will now visit and arranged district nurse to visit.
Dad is going down hill fast and last week was at hospital for 10 hours just for 2 transfusion. He is withdrawing into himself and will not answer door or phone.
Eating is becoming hard as his mouth is so sore.
I hope after my visit we will have care plan in place. Sue ryder we lovely today and can visit upto 4 times a day. We need to know if dad wants to be at home or if he would prefer to be somewhere with lots of care.
Up until now he has refused any contact with nurse and I am shocked his gp has not tried to visit.
Unfortunately I am going to have to force him to speak to nurse. A one hour chat then we can make things better for him.
I am still not allowed to stop over with him so couch surfing.

Dr at hospital said 2 weeks ago that dad could be admitted to cambrige for these injections but no further mention. We dont want him to do this and we think dad doesnt either.

The good constant is my sister communicates well with me. She just is not pro active. Troubles with dad not telling her he has run out of meds so I am going to count them all and do a spreadsheet so we know when he is getting low on something.

Had a lovely long chat with neabbirac today which helped no end.

About 8 years ago dad had serious depression and we feel this is consuming him again. Luckily I have an understanding of this.

Thank you so much for caring. Sorry about the rant.

Right, I've spent much of the morning so far putting items onto the M list that don't show any pricing for M on msm:rotfl:. I'm speaking of the Heinz baby food yogurts and puddings. So much so is it that msm.co.uk doesn't even have a Morrisons comparison come up when I've put the items into my basket:rotfl:.

I've carefully selected the ones that were in the supposed price collection M store, not that that means anything, although I have Mr A say to me before that N/As may be because items may be in my M stores but not in the M stores that the price collection teams use and therefore suggested legitimately N/A. So that on the other hand. Bet they've gone to a different store!:rotfl::rotfl:

None to worry in any event, as I enjoyed the time out and it doesn't matter so much which store (or stores) it was from, as the list provides the usual "guide" that it does or doesn't provide.

I think a bit of an errant price SEL on the Select Mixed Veg. - in the light of what msm says and that we know this product came off £1 offer only the other week - yet SEL for it said £1 in the "all-important" - or no importance at all - Wrexham store. BE Sweetcorn had £2. Wonder if that might mean anything on the Mixed Veg:think:. Probably not - I suspect they've checked other stores that have the £2 price on, and gone with that as 'most common'. Although, we never know, those of you shopping in Wales might well get this information as their sole Welsh price information, and could be a glitched price. I don't hold my breath though!

Right - I have a lot more to tell you, but that will have to wait till later - I haven't even mentioned about the plums, appropriately enough referred to, maybe, very soon after my lists on page 1 -

    Show us ya plums!!;)

and I'll have to see you later!

(You can of course see the lists as they now stand - a lot of the bold items, this time, are not strictly new items but may well have been there before at those prices but me only adding them now.) Finally, I'll just mention the Quavers 20 pack on promotion in M at £2, perhaps just so that you don't go wasting your money IMO on the 14 pack at £2 in A. There is also Wotsits 20 pack, that appears to be on £2. Both items apparently available only in M. Not that £2 for 20 packs is really good:rotfl::rotfl:. Walkers Classic 20 and Walkers Meaty 20 are also each £2 fwiw. They just being a near-miss, missing out on being on the M list.

    Bye-bye!!:)

Looks like I am too late for the night shift
and too early for the morning one
  • Morning underperky!
'Tis a strange time to be up indeed elite wise. :D I'm feeding baby so awake at weird times, I only seem to catch up with night shift. ;)
    Hope we're all well today.
VT, sorry to hear about your dad. Must be so hard not to be allowed to help but I guess it is hard for him too to adjust to needing the help. I haven't faced this with my parents but watched my mum go through it with my gran and it was heart breaking. So hugs to you.
