Morning all, not very chatty overnight - where were the night crew?

Sat with dye on hair, then quick wash before work. Haircut last night so more colour to go round on the silver bits.

    Hello Snap
How is the house hunting going?

:D Hi Bubbs - glad you are sorting out your health ♥

We've been offered Fourp's parents house for a price we can afford, just need to find out about if Capital Gains Tax applies .......

Lovely 4 bed detached house, immaculate condition with all mod cons.
But I would want to alter some areas & personalise it to - Fourp's DM is alright about this :A

  • Good morning :)

Last night I dreamt I got to Asda then realised I'd forgotten my vouchers so I had to spend cash and was annoyed about it. Does anyone else have dreams about shopping? I must be thinking about it too much :D

Capital gains tax would only apply to the parents, if the property wasn't their main home for any length of time.

Not been watching GBBO but got to watch now...got to wait up for our little kitty anyway :( He is only 7 months old and never goes outside for more than 20 minutes normally but he wandered out at 10pm and is not home yet. DD1 has gone to bed in tears because little Oreo is not home yet. I've promised to stay up all night if need be to wait for him to come home, going to wait til 1.30ish then will have to call it a nignt and hope he is home in the morning. OH did a sweep of the estate shaking the dreamies before he went to bed half an hour ago, that normally gets him running home wherever he is. OH up for work at 5.30am so has had to go and get some kip.

Hope the little terror isn't injured somewhere :'(

Fingers crossed you will find him xx

  • Good morning all, cloudy here with some rain overnight.

Another busy day coming up, then another one tomorrow, then we might get the weekend off. Of course that means OH will be able to do what he wants, I will have to catch up on all the things I should have been doing this week, the house needs cleaning, the ironing needs doing, and the garden thinks it is weed central

VT - you are going through one of the hardest times in your life, and doing your best by your dad, and you are coping wonderfully :A
I love cheese but this was just too cheesy :(

And me. I still have about 15 sticks in the ground now and I must have already had at least that much out. I'm planning a whole bed just for rhubarb :j

I still can't make myself like the blackberries though :(

I still have rhubarb to pick too, already have loads I have had to simply freeze. The raspberries are going mental so I have to pick those every night when we come in and then they go in the freezer too. I am just glad we have a big freezer :)

As for the blackberries, apple and blackberry crumble is great with just a handful of blackberries in it, but my favourite this year is some blackberry jelly I made, I did put a lot of cooking apples in for the pectin, but it is a lovely colour, lovely set, and it tastes good too :D If you are looking for something to do with blackberries it would make a great Christmas gift for someone :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
