I'd better get to bed. I have the jolly band of builders turning up early doors. Plus a possibly grumpy window fitter. I had to buy tea bags  full price tea bags!!

.......I started having a mad idea of turning my new building into a holiday let to earn money today  I haven't told anyone else yet :D  :rotfl:

    Goodnight :)

Must have missed that, what are you having done?

I need a complete set of new windows, stupid builders used cheap wooden frames with double glazing :( which are at the end of their life, but can't face the worry and upheaval of getting them done.

She is most def a sponge! And forgets nothing!

She went bowling for the first time with her nursery the other day so I was asking her if she liked it etcl. She was like well yeah mummy but I've been before. I was adamant that she hadn't been as it's not something we'd normally do and she was getting quite upset that I said she hadn't been. Was talking to my mum on the phone and telling her about it and she said we'll technically she has been before! So i was  until she pointed out that we went there when she was about 11 months old when they were up visiting!!

They are fascinating at this age :)

It's amazing what they remember. I have been told several times over the years Im in the wrong road/where to turn/a certain landmark is missing.
Dig back in your own memory.........I have memories from a very young age  I recently drove someone around an area I hadn't been in for a very long time! and I never got lost :)

I got so far behind on my building work sue :o I had a 'mad?' idea of turning the unused part of the house into a self contained area for DS2.......he doesn't need it yet, but he will in the future. Granny flat sort of thing. I want him to be looked after but have independence so I'm sorting it out in advance.

I had a nightmare last week :( after getting the same company out that fitted my windows in the main house, to do a quote, the wrong windows turned up :( . Ive sorted it out and the right ones should be arriving tomorrow :o

Finally caught up with the last few days Elite news :p

Many thanks LFAB for the new thread and to FC for the previous one

I did a check for the Dettol wipes in my local Asda on Saturday morning. As they were rtc I put in a C&C order for collection yesterday afternoon. When my order was given to me the wipes were showing as £3 on the receipt. I queried this with the SA and said that they should be £1.50 as that is what they are being sold for in store. She told me that C&C deliveries for that store come from another store 20 miles away, so the C&C prices are based on the prices in that other store. This makes it hard for me to know before placing a C&C order whether I will get a glitch or not as I would obviously be checking the prices in my local store rather than the prices in the one that is providing the actual goods it seems :(

Right, off to bed for me.
