I hope it wasn't me, I've worked in Customer Service roles for years and I know just how that feels. Just to set things straight, as I said the SA was very polite, he called Supervisor to check, Supervisor said not accepted and I said fine, she then came back with a list of exceptions even though we had accepted decision and then queried use of Morries conditional spends.

No, I don't think it was you hun. This lad said the lady was going on & on. Love him I just felt sorry for him. I always like to engage with the person on the tills as I am just chatty like that. x

The friend I recently on holiday with - I paid for all the petrol which I insisted on as she was good enough to take us as I don't drive :)

Unfortunately when we went anywhere her purse was always in the car boot...

    I paid for everything :)

When we returned she said she was surprised on how little her holiday had cost  & was able to buy a new carpet for her stairs with her holiday cash :rotfl::rotfl:

 OMG how awful. Cringe worthy that she could be so mean.

Personally I think the wrong pubs were targeted. They were very much the regular drinkers of the same stuff day in day out. Could tell though that they never saw strangers in these pubs. It all fell silent in some as I started my speech and I could see and feel the eyes looking. (Not all of the pubs of course) :rotfl:

Arghh I hate pubs like that! :(

    Message for 3010

I suggested MK as I think Virgin trains run through there. If they are making you pay for your travel then Bedford might be a good option as I know the Thameslink trains run all night ( except for one hour).
My dd used to live and fly with a lovely lad at Air Atlanta called Joe. He went on to Virgin Trains and I think moved from Crawley to Watford. Closer to London more expensive it gets.
Bletchley also has good train links I think.
As soon as you start training more accommodation options will open up to you so don't get yourself tied up for long.
My dd joined the airline for training we had to put her in a B and B. Within a week she was in shared house in Crawley.
Any local knowledge you need just pm me.

    Evening all
80 pages behind and keyboard playing up on tablet so typing on phone.
Good trip to see dad and he managed 2 longer visits.
Cleaned his house top to bottom so he feels happier as very house proud. His specialist has come up with mon-fri in addenbrookes for these injections but have to wait for a bed. Dad went for transfusion Thursday at 10.30 but no blood ready so he had to go back at. 3 pm.

I am worried about him going in for injections as hygiene and bugs wise he is far better off at home. Nasty side effects too so think he might only have one course then decide not to continue.

Told him whatever he wants we will do so he has less fear now.
Lads next door are on newspaper duty which is lovely of them.

Lightening visit to see dd. inbetweeners with dd and ds2. Very funny but different from first one. Luckily I wasn't the oldest one there but kids told me off for howling with laughter.

Shattered doesn't come close and I have been back 2 days.

Dd has the my for lifestyle from orchard but we can't get it delivered.
Code going in recycling. Sure it should work on any club card.
Mum has never had an orchard trial since it started but she got the ice cream one except I didn't see email in time.

Lastly mum got a trial size of Age Renew. She doesn't remember how but for postage costs I have a 30ml serum.

    Might catch up soon

    Good evening,

Anyway I have been really busy for the last couple of week delivering a campaign for a soft drinks company, so have not had much chance to catch up or report in. :D The work involved me going around 150 pubs in a postcode area.

To be honest it was a eye opener.

Basically in the kits there was 24 glasses, POS (posters, leaflets) material plus some other bits. All the stuff I gave away was free. Anyway it went quiet well and I managed to merchandise a large number of pubs.

However, the abuse I got from both bar staff and customers trying to give the stuff away for free. One customer in a pub I very lightly brushed pasted him with the heavy box that I was carrying and I got a torrent of abuse about it being assault and stuff. They then swore at me and walked off. Some of the landlords did not want the kits and yet again I was told to go away (in the way that ended in off). Then had to try and ask for comments why they did not want it and a signature.

All that just to give them free stuff. At least I don't have to do it again. None of you would have refused the freebies. :rotfl:

Bless you! And well done for persevering with that  sounds like a nightmare. With the exception of our very local to us pubs and an odd other few.......I wouldn't send my dog into most of our other 'local' pubs
    You will go far ;)

    Debt-free and Proud!
Evening all. Many thanks for all of my birthday wishes yesterday.

I have been suffering with possibly the worst hangover of all time today. Physically ill and everything. Didn't even feel anything approaching normal until this evening :o

I had a lovely evening out. Cocktails and dim sum with my favourite people. One of my very best friends in the whole world came into town with balloons, donuts and presents. Including a gift that made me cry actual large tears.

She commissioned a graphic artist friend of hers to draw a portrait of me. I love it so so much.
