I forgot to add the pubs I went to most of the people were well tanked up on arrival. I went to some for when they opened and by the time I left the bar was full of people. That was at 11:30 in the morning.
At some of the pubs I struggled to take pictures of the bar due to there being a drunk at each seat (that was by mid afternoon). The POS was on the bar, so I needed that picture.
However, a large majority were okay, but it was about 10% that made me think this is not for me. Especially after being swore at again.0 -
I can't believe they refused freebies 3010, never mind abusively. Shame you could not just have sent them out to us
Hope you manage to stick the job out, it took you so long to get it and you were so pleased when you managed it, keep trying for a while please xxWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I've never understood people who don't pay their share/ buy their rounds.
I'm not rich but would feel so embarrased not to pay my way.
I remember meeting up with some friends on holiday many years ago and when we went out for a meal we split the bill for food four ways between us. I am veggie so mine was by far the cheapest but I still paid a quarter.
The next day one of my friends told me that one of the others hadn't paid her share ONCE in the whole week. It was only when I arrived and started putting in my share that she also started to cough up.
Are these people just blatant blaggers or are they used to being "kept"?
Whenever I see my kids, non of them ever take their wallets!!!100 -

I'd have loved to, but I was told to get rid of them into the larger pubs that wanted them. I'd have happily recycled the glasses, but they were a bit too heavy.0 -

Some lovely parts round about yes, but Inverness its self? I'm not a fan!
Can you tell?! :rotfl::rotfl:
Has my favourite airport in the world  :j Mega cheap flights from the mountainless south, quick hop on a very spectacular bus ride west, and then totally spoiled for choice in terms of amazingly beautiful terrain in evey direction.0 -
Dinner tonight is expensive steak. _pale_
Mr TS was let loose at the butchers yesterday morning. £20 for few rashers of bacon, black pudding. bacon bits for pasta and a steak. Yes only one steak he says it's enough for us both.
He then went into the fishmongers next door and got frozen dressed crab and white crab meat half price. Think what he paid for that is a good price, only usually have crab sandwiches as a treat when pop in the tearooms at to Corfe Castle when we walk from the manor.
I hope he doesn't make a habit of it. I do like to support the butcher and we usually get our meat there for special occasions and Christmas but it just seems a bit OTT to me.
Although the bacon is lovely no water comes out of it and doesn't hardly shrink. :cool:0 -

I'm the opposite, whenever I see my parents I always pay for them as I figure they spent enough on me when I was a youngster!"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."
